Introduction
Instruction manuals provide valuable hints for using your new device. They enable you to use all functions, and they help you avoid misunderstandings and prevent damage. Please take the time to read this manual carefully and keep it for future reference.
Assembly and Setting Up
Follow the product illustration for assembly:
- Step 1: Join the two parts of the ground stake together.
- Step 2: Attach the assembled stake to the underside of the light unit. Ensure the ON/OFF switch is accessible.
- Step 3: Insert the assembled light unit firmly into the ground.
The solar light is designed to resist the elements and is protected against dampness. However, it should not be directly subjected to excessive wetness or immersion in water.
If a protective foil is present on the solar panel for transit protection, please remove it before use.
Operation
A push button, marked "ON" and "OFF", is located under the lamp head.
- "ON" position: The lamp illuminates in white. For operation and charging, the button must be set to "ON".
- "OFF" position: The lamp is turned off.
Using the Solar Lamp
The performance of the solar lamp varies depending on the season, and the duration and intensity of the sunlight received.
- During periods of prolonged weather with insufficient sunshine, the battery charge may become too low to provide illumination for an extended period. The battery charges with less energy during the day than it expends at night. This inevitably shortens the illumination time and can lead to the battery being deeply discharged and potentially damaged.
- Ensure the solar panel is not dirty or covered by snow and ice during winter, as this reduces its performance. Cold temperatures can also negatively impact the battery's operating life.
- If the solar light is not needed for a long period, such as during winter, it should be cleaned and stored in a dry, frost-free place. Remove the battery from the solar light to prevent damage to either the battery or the light unit.
Replacing the Battery
Battery replacement by the customer is not intended. Please contact a specialist.
Cleaning
Clean the housing of the solar light with a lightly moistened cloth. Mild dish soap can be used if necessary. Do not immerse the solar light in liquids.
Avoid using aggressive chemicals or abrasive cleaners to prevent damage to the surfaces.
