- Click the printer icon in the print dialog. Select "Destination" → "See more" → "ITPP130 Printer".
- Configure printer settings: Ensure "ITPP130 Printer" is selected. Open "More settings", choose "4x6 inch" for "Paper Size", and "Fit to printable area" for "Scale". Then click "Print".
- Verify that the printed label matches the content of the PDF document.
1.2. Mac Driver Installation Issue
1.2.1. Why is my printer not showing up on my desktop?
If your Mac displays the printer status as "Offline" or it does not appear in "Printers&Scanners", the Mac may not have recognized the printer. Try the following:
- Unplug and replug the USB cable at both the Mac computer and printer ends. Restart the printer by turning it off and then on again.
- If the printer still does not appear, check the USB connection. Connect a flash drive using a USB adapter to confirm if the computer can read data from it. If the flash drive works, the USB adapter likely provides a stable connection for the printer. A demo video for this is available at: https://bit.ly/macoffline
- If the printer remains unrecognized, please contact the after-sales service.
1.2.2. How do I fix an invalid digital signature?
This issue typically arises when using an older driver version with an expired signature. Download the latest driver version from the provided link and follow the accompanying demo video for reinstallation. Mac driver link: https://bit.ly/macd130. Demo video: https://bit.ly/mvideo130.
1.3. Windows Driver Installation Issue
1.3.1. Why does my Windows display the printer status as Error?
This error often occurs due to an incorrect USB port assignment in Windows configuration. You can modify the port by following these steps:
- Identify the correct port: Navigate to "This PC" (right-click) → "Manage" → "Device Manager" → "Universal Serial Bus controllers" → "USB Printing Support" → "Details" → "Bus relations" → "USB00*".
At this point, you will see the USB port assigned to the printer by Windows, typically "USB00*".
- Modify the port assignment: Go to "Setting" → "Device" → "Printers&Scanners" → "ITPP130" → "Manage" → "Printer properties" → "Ports". Select the correct "USB00*" port and click "Apply".
1.3.2. Why does my Windows display the printer status as offline?
An "offline" status indicates that Windows has not recognized the printer. Try replugging the USB cable and restarting the printer. The status should change to "Idle" (online). If it persists as offline, reinstall the driver. The printer may then appear as "ITPP130 (Copy 1)".
1.4. Bluetooth Connection (Only for Bluetooth version)
1.4.1. How to connect the printer to my phone
- Search for the "Munbyn Print" app in your phone's App Store or Google Play and download it.
- Open the Munbyn Print app and connect to the printer. You can scan the QR code provided in the document to access a video tutorial.
- If your mobile device requires a PIN password, enter "0000".
Note: Due to mobile phone system requirements, the app may request access to location services. You will receive a notification to grant permission. Ensure GPS is enabled and authorization is confirmed (for Android devices).
2. Printing Issue
2.1. Label Issue
2.1.1. Why doesn't my label print correctly?
There are three common situations:
- Incorrect Label Size: The primary reason is that your shipping label file is not sized 4x6 inches. You must set the correct label size within the shipping platform or online store where you are sourcing your file. Specific steps for this are usually provided in the platform's setup guide.
- Incorrect Settings for Different Sizes: When switching between printing labels of different sizes, ensure the settings are correct. Select the size that matches your shipping label. For Windows, navigate to "printer preferences" → "advanced" → "paper size" and select the 4x6 inch (100x150mm) option. For Mac, in the print dialogue, ensure you select the correct "Paper Size" (e.g., 4x6 inches). You can save these settings as presets to avoid repeated adjustments.
- Partial Information Missing: If your file size is correct but only a small part of the label is missing (e.g., the barcode or consignee information), first check if your adapter is included in the package. If the adapter is correct, calibrate the paper by loading at least 4 consecutive sheets into the printer. Once the paper stops moving, press and hold the FEED button (indicated by a red/green light) until you hear a beep, then release it. The printer will then learn the paper size, and normal printing should resume.
2.1.2. Why is my label printing too small?
This can occur if the document size is not 4x6 inches, if there is a large blank area around the shipping label (on the right or left), or if the label prompts "cut on dotted line". To resolve this, you need to remove the blank area:
- Use MunbynPrinter Program: This program can crop label files. It supports processing 8x11 inch label PDF files from specific sources like UPS, USPS, DHL, FedEx, Canada Post, and Colissimo La Poste. Download link: http://munbyn.biz/PDFMP
- Crop with Adobe Acrobat Reader: You can crop blank areas using Adobe Acrobat Reader. A video tutorial is available at: https://youtu.be/ucBS9epBnnU. The free download link for Adobe Acrobat Reader is: https://acrobat.adobe.com/us/en/acrobat/pdf-reader.html
2.1.3. Why are my stickers slowly moving off center?
This issue is common with thermal printers and thermal stickers due to small gaps in the stickers. Adjust the printer settings to ensure continuous and centered printing:
- For Windows: Navigate to "Printing preferences" → "Page Setup". Under "Media Settings", set "Method" to "Direct Thermal", "Type" to "Label With Gaps", "Gap/Mark Height" to 3mm, and "Gap/Mark Offset" to 0mm. Click "Apply".
- For Mac: In the print dialog, go to "Printer Features" → "Printer Settings". Set "Media Tracking" to "Gap", "Gap/Mark Height" to 3mm, "Gap/Mark Offset" to 0mm, and "Method" to "Direct Thermal".
After saving these settings, calibrate the label: Load at least 4 consecutive sheets of label paper into the printer. When the paper stops moving, press and hold the FEED button (red/green light) until you hear a beep, then release it. The printer will learn the paper size, and normal operation will resume.
2.1.4. Why is the printer only printing blank?
The most common reasons for blank labels are:
- Labels were loaded upside down. Ensure the tearable side of the labels is facing up.
- The labels are not "Direct Thermal" type. The paper included in the package is suitable.
- If the above conditions are met but labels are still blank or incompletely printed, try printing a self-test page. To do this, press and hold the FEED button (green/red light) until you hear two consecutive beeps, then release. If the self-test page also prints blank, please contact customer support.
2.1.5. Why is the red light blinking on the printer?
A blinking red light can indicate several issues:
- No Label Paper: The printer is not loaded with label paper. Load paper, and the light should turn green.
- Incorrect Paper Size Identification: The printer may not correctly identify the paper size. This can manifest as printing blank sheets, inability to print continuously, or printing only partial text with paper jams, all accompanied by a red light. To resolve this, load at least 4 consecutive sheets of paper. After the paper stops moving, press and hold the FEED button (red/green light) until a beep, then release. The printer will learn the paper size.
- Improper Paper Feeding: The label may not be feeding correctly, potentially causing abnormal noise.
2.2. Print Quality Issue
2.2.1. Why is the printed label too dark and cannot be scanned?
- Try printing from PDF file format instead of image formats like PNG or PIG, especially if the barcode appears fuzzy.
- If the barcode is still not scannable, the printer's density and speed settings might not be optimal for the shipping label. Adjust these settings by reducing the density and increasing the speed. Refer to section 2.2.4 for specific steps.
2.2.2. Why is the printed label not clear?
- Try printing from PDF file format instead of image formats like PNG or PIG, especially if the text appears light.
- If the font is still unclear, try increasing the density and reducing the speed. Refer to section 2.2.4 for specific steps.
- If the label remains unclear, you can clean the print head using alcohol wipes or wet tissues.
2.2.3. How to maintain the print head?
A video guide for print head maintenance is available at: https://bit.ly/cleanpd130. The steps are:
- Turn off the printer and allow it to cool down for about 30 seconds.
- Use alcohol wipes or suitable cleaning wipes to clean the print head.
- Wait 2-5 minutes for the print head to dry completely before turning the printer back on.
It is recommended to use high-quality thermal label paper, such as Munbyn label paper, to prevent issues like paper peeling and residue on the print head, which can affect its lifespan.
2.2.4. How to adjust the density and speed in the settings?
- For Mac: In the print dialog, click "Printer Features" and then adjust the "Darkness" and "Print Speed" settings as needed.
- For Windows: Navigate to "Settings" → "Devices" → "Printers and Scanners". Click on 'ITPP130 Printer', then "Manager" → "Printing Preferences" → "Page Setup" → "Density/Speed". Adjust the settings and click "Apply".
2.3. Other Issue
2.3.1. Why does the printer keep beeping?
Please check if you are using the power adapter that was included in the package. The power adapter specifications are: Input: 100-240V~50/60Hz, 2.0A; Output: 24V, 2.5A; 48W. The adapter is typically black and may have branding like "DAJING".
2.3.2. Why can't the printer work after I update the computer system?
Try downloading the latest driver file and installing it on your computer. The latest driver can be found at: https://bit.ly/driver130. If the printer still does not function correctly, please contact customer support.
2.3.3. Why can't I find 4x6 inches in Google Chrome?
Google Chrome may use different measurement methods for sizes. When printing a 4x6 inch label file, try selecting "oe w288h432". Alternatively, you can use a different web browser to print your labels.
2.3.4. Why is my printer not turning on?
Check the following:
- Power Connection: Ensure the wall plug is functional by testing it with another device. Verify that the power cable is securely connected to the adapter and the printer. Check the power switch on the back of the printer (marked "I" for On and "O" for Off) to ensure it is in the "On" position.
- Power Adapter Damage: If the power adapter is damaged, it may not display a green light.
- Printer Failure: If the power adapter or the printer itself is faulty, please contact customer support for assistance.
