This document provides operating instructions for the Anslut Floor Fan. It includes assembly steps, usage guidelines, maintenance procedures, and important safety information. The product is designed for indoor use.
Safety Instructions
- For indoor use only.
- Children aged eight and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, may use the product if supervised or instructed on safe use and understand the associated risks. Do not allow children to play with the product.
- Use the product only for its intended purpose and in accordance with these instructions.
- Do not cover the product, as this can cause overheating and fire.
- Place the product upright on a level, horizontal, and stable surface.
- The product must always stand upright during use; never use it on its side.
- Pull the plug from the power outlet when the product is not in use. Do not pull the cord to remove the plug.
- Leave at least 30 cm of free space around the product for safe and correct operation.
- Ensure the product can oscillate without colliding with or being obstructed by anything in its surroundings.
- Never insert objects into the product's grille. It is especially important to explain this to children and ensure they understand the risks.
- Do not use the product if the cord or plug is damaged, if the product has tipped over, or if it appears not to be functioning correctly.
- If the cord or plug is damaged, it must be replaced by an authorized service representative or other qualified personnel to avoid danger.
- Do not use the product outdoors.
- Do not use the product near a bath, shower, or swimming pool.
- Do not expose the product to direct sunlight.
- Do not use the product with an external speed controller.
- Do not use the product near flammable liquids or gases.
- Switch off the product and pull out the plug before cleaning.
- Never leave the product unattended when switched on.
- Repairs must only be carried out by an authorized service workshop.
- If the product stops working correctly, switch it off using the switch on the control panel and contact the retailer.
Assembly
Follow these steps for assembly:
- Mount the bottom tube in the connector.
- Mount the 4 parts of the foot on the connector and check that they are firmly in place.
- Insert the column tube into the connector from above and check that it locks into place. Look from underneath through the hole in the connector to verify.
- Loosen the height adjustment ring on the column tube and adjust to the desired height. Tighten the height adjustment ring.
- Undo the wing screw at the bottom of the motor unit to attach it to the inner column tube. Place the motor unit on the inner column tube and tighten the wing screw so it engages with the appropriate slot in the inner column tube.
- Unscrew the hub nut clockwise and the plastic nut counterclockwise. Mount the back grille onto the motor unit and tighten the plastic nut.
- Place the fan rotor onto the axle and check that the pin on the rotor axle engages in the slot in the fan rotor. Turn the hub nut counterclockwise to lock the fan rotor.
- Assemble the front and back grilles using the grille clamp and tighten the lock screw and nut for the grille.
Operation
- Set the desired speed using the power switch: 0: Off, 1: Low speed, 2: Medium speed, 3: High speed.
- To activate/deactivate oscillation, pull up/press down the oscillation button.
- Gently press the grille to adjust the air direction in the vertical plane.
- Adjust the height setting by releasing the height adjustment ring, carefully lifting or lowering to the desired height, and then tightening the height adjustment ring again.
Maintenance
- Pull out the plug from the power outlet before installation and/or cleaning.
- The product should be cleaned once a month. Clean the fan with a soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild detergent. Ensure no water or other liquid enters the fan.
- Do not use petrol, solvents, or detergents that can damage plastic parts.
