Onforu Solar Light Instructions
Models Covered: CP06, CP08, CP10
How the Solar Light Works
During the day, the solar panel converts solar energy into solar power, which is stored in the rechargeable battery. At night, the sensor automatically turns the light on, powered by the stored energy. The duration the stored power lasts depends on its location, weather conditions, and seasonal lighting availability.
Choosing the Right Location
The ideal location for your solar light is one that receives direct sunshine, allowing the solar panel to capture sunlight for at least 6 hours each day. Shady locations will reduce the energy received and may shorten the light's operating time. Avoid placing the solar light near artificial lighting, such as streetlights, as this can cause the light to turn off. The solar light is light-sensitive and will automatically switch off if a strong light source is present, including the sun, spotlights, streetlights, torches, and interior lights.
Precautions
This light is designed to operate from dusk till dawn. If strong light sources are nearby, the light may appear dim or not turn off completely. Although the battery is charged by the manufacturer, its charge may have decreased upon receipt. For optimal performance, charge the battery for a full day before first use. Keep the surface of the solar panel clean to maintain its efficiency.
How to Use the Solar Light
Upon unboxing the solar light, locate the OFF push-button switch on the underside. Press it to select mode "1" (constant light) or "2" (blink mode). Place the light in a sunny location, ensuring the solar panel on the base receives direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
If the light does not turn on automatically after 6 hours of charging, please check the following:
- Ensure the lamp is placed in a sunny location with the solar panels oriented towards the sun. The battery might not have been fully recharged during initial charging.
- Verify that no light source nearby is triggering the lamp's sensor.
