Installation
Important: Always turn off the power supply before installation. Touching electrical components can cause electric shock. The main power switch is located on the outdoor unit.
1. Choosing the Installation Location
The WLAN adapter should be installed in a location meeting the following requirements:
- The adapter is not exposed to direct sunlight.
- The adapter is located away from heat sources or steam.
- No source of oil vapor is nearby (which could shorten the lifespan of the indoor unit).
- The adapter is at least 1 meter away from televisions or radios (to prevent interference with picture or sound).
- The distance between the indoor unit and the WLAN adapter is determined by the length of the WLAN adapter's cable.
2. Attaching the Top Cover
Remove the top cover of the Wireless LAN Adapter. Diagrams show the adapter with the top cover removed, revealing the PCB, and the bottom cover with a cable slot.
3. Attaching the Connecting Cable
Connect the white connecting cable connector. Secure the connecting cable into the slot in the bottom cover of the adapter. Connect the connector to the same color. Diagrams show connecting the white cable to the adapter's internal port and securing the cable.
4. Reattaching the Adapter Cover
Secure the top part of the top cover into the clip on the top of the bottom cover, then close the unit by pressing. Check that the connecting cable is securely fastened. Attach the top cover with 2 screws from the accessory kit. Diagrams illustrate aligning the covers and securing them with screws.
