All About Passion

Button Function

The device features three main buttons:

  • Left Button:
    • Short Press: Mark a new lap.
    • Hold for 2 seconds: Power off.
    • When powering on: Short press to turn on.
    • In setting mode (Short Press): Exit and save the current setting.
  • Mid Button:
    • Short Press: Pause / Continue recording. (Press to start recording after power on).
    • Hold for 2 seconds: Save the exercise record and exit the exercise.
    • In setting mode (Short Press): Enter the current setting or switch the number of digits.
  • Right Button:
    • Short Press: Page turning.
    • Hold for 2 seconds: Enter setting mode.
    • In setting mode (Short Press): Switch setting options or switch the numerical value.

The device display shows various data points and status icons. The main display area typically shows large numerical values, while smaller indicators represent metrics like Heart Rate (HRM), Time (TIME), Altitude (ALT), Calories (CAL), Distance (DST), Cadence (CAD), Power (PWR), and Lap Count (LAP).

Status Icons

The device uses various icons to indicate status and data:

  • Time: 88:88
  • Satellite Signal: ?️ (No satellite signal), ?️ (Satellite signal level)
  • Connectivity: ? (Accessory connecting status), ? (Connected with App by BLE)
  • Activity: ? (Under exercising)
  • Pause: ►II (Manual pause)
  • Temperature: ?️
  • Battery: ? (Battery level)

How to Install

Standard Mount Installation

  1. Install the rubber pad onto the mount.
  2. Tie the mount onto the handlebar using the rubber rings.
  3. Securely tie up the mount.
  4. Install the main device onto the mount.
  5. Rotate the main device for 90 degrees to lock it in place.
  6. Installation completed.

Charging

  1. Please charge the device before first-time use.
  2. Use a DC 5V power adapter for charging.
  3. During charging, the battery icon will flash until fully charged.

To charge, open the rubber cover on the device and connect it with the USB cable. The device can be charged using a USB DC 5V power adapter or a computer.

Caution: The product has a built-in battery. Do not dispose of the product in a fire. Please use an adapter that meets the rated voltage of the device to avoid damage.

Acquiring Satellite Signals, Time Setting and Auto Backlight

Auto Backlight

The device automatically calculates sunrise and sunset times. The backlight will lighten up from half an hour before sunset to half an hour after sunrise. During other times, the backlight turns off if no operation is detected for 15 seconds.

Acquiring Satellite Signals

Ensure the device is outdoors with a clear view of the sky. It typically takes 15-90 seconds to locate satellite signals. Remain stationary while acquiring signals. The device uses GPS for speed tracking by default, but will use a connected speed sensor if available.

Time Setting

The time and date calibrate automatically after locating satellite signals when the device is powered on. Alternatively, connect the device to the CoospoRide App to sync the time. Ensure the correct time zone is set.

Connecting with ANT+ Sensors

1. Wake-up Mode: First, ensure all connected sensors are in wake-up mode.

  • Heart Rate Monitor: Wear it correctly.
  • Speed Sensor, Cadence Sensor, Power Meter: Awaken by turning the pedals or wheels.

Note: Heart rate monitor, speed sensor, cadence sensor, and power meter may require additional purchase.

ANT+ Peripherals Connection

1. Enter Setting Mode: Hold the [Next Button] (>) to enter setting mode.

2. Navigate Settings: There are 5 settings pages available (P1 to P5). Press the [Next Button] (>) to switch between them. For ANT+ connection, you will typically use P1.

3. Select/Enter: Press the [Play/Pause Button] (►II) to select or enter a setting.

4. Automatic Search: The computer automatically searches for ANT+ peripherals and connects after searching.

5. Save and Return: Press the [Play/Pause Button] (►II) to save found accessories and return. If no ANT+ accessory is found, the device returns to the previous pages automatically. When a power device is connected, power data is displayed first; otherwise, GRA slope data is shown.

Setting the Wheel Size

1. Enter Setting Mode: Hold the [Next Button] (>) to enter setting mode.

2. Navigate Settings: There are 5 settings pages (P1-P5). Press the [Next Button] (>) to switch to P2 (Wheel Size setting).

3. Select/Enter: Press the [Play/Pause Button] (►II) to select to enter the setting.

4. Select Digit and Set Number: Press the [Play/Pause Button] (►II) to select the digit you want to change. Then, press the [Next Button] (>) to set the desired number.

5. Save and Exit: Press the [Settings Button] (⚙️) to save and exit. The device will automatically exit if no operation is detected for 6 seconds.

Time Zone Setting

1. Enter Setting Mode: Hold the [Next Button] (>) to enter setting mode.

2. Navigate Settings: Press the [Next Button] (>) to switch to P3 (Time Zone setting).

3. Select/Enter: Press the [Play/Pause Button] (►II) to select to enter. The default time zone is UTC/GMT + 08:00.

4. Select Digit and Set Number: Press the [Play/Pause Button] (►II) to select the digit you want to change. Then, press the [Next Button] (>) to set the desired number.

5. Save and Exit: Press the [Settings Button] (⚙️) to save and exit. The device will automatically exit if no operation is detected for 6 seconds.

Setting Metric and Imperial Units

1. Enter Setting Mode: Hold the [Next Button] (>) to enter setting mode.

2. Navigate Settings: Press the [Next Button] (>) to switch to P4 (Units setting).

3. Select/Enter: Press the [Play/Pause Button] (►II) to enter. The default unit is KMH.

4. Switch Units: Press the [Next Button] (>) to switch between units (e.g., KMH/MPH).

5. Save and Exit: Press the [Settings Button] (⚙️) to save and exit. The device will automatically exit if no operation is detected for 6 seconds.

Power Calibration

1. Enter Setting Mode: Hold the [Next Button] (>) to enter setting mode.

2. Navigate Settings: Press the [Next Button] (>) to switch to P5 (Power Calibration).

3. Auto Calibration: The device will automatically calibrate when entering P5.

4. Recalibrate: A short press of the [Play/Pause Button] (►II) will recalibrate the power meter. The value will flash during calibration and stop flashing when successful.

5. Save and Exit: After successful calibration, press the [Settings Button] (⚙️) to save and exit. The device will automatically exit if no operation is detected for 20 seconds.

GPS Positioning

  1. GPS searching is automatic after powering on. Please start cycling only after successful GPS positioning.
  2. If you start riding before GPS positioning is successful (and no speed sensor is connected), speed data (real-time, average, maximum) will be displayed as "--.--", while other data remains unchanged.
  3. Tip: Stand still for 3-5 minutes to improve satellite connections for better GPS signal.

The device displays different signal strengths:

  • No signal
  • Weak
  • Normal
  • Strong

The display may show "No satellite signal" or "No Speed data display" depending on GPS status.

Note: Ensure you are outdoors for positioning. Bad weather and dense forests can affect GPS signal reception.

Cycling

Turn on the device and press the [Play/Pause Button] (►II) to start an exercise and recording. During cycling, if the speed is 0, the device will pause automatically. If no speed, cadence, or heart rate data is received for 15 minutes, the device will enter sleep mode. Press the [Play/Pause Button] (►II) to resume.

Controls during cycling:

  • Press [Play/Pause Button] (►II): Mark a new lap.
  • Press [Next Button] (>): Switch the display to show different data screens.
  • Press [Play/Pause Button] (►II): Pause/Continue the current exercise.
  • Hold [Play/Pause Button] (►II): Stop exercise and save the riding data.

Bluetooth Connection

1. Download App: Download the CoospoRide app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Compatibility:

  • iOS: Version 9.0 and above, iPhone 4s and above.
  • Android: Any Bluetooth 4.0 enabled Android device with Android 4.3 and above.

Pairing with the CoospoRide App

2. Power On: Turn on the bike computer.

3. Bind Device: Open the CoospoRide App, navigate to the binding step, and select the BC107 from the device list to bind it. Ensure your phone has Bluetooth turned on and has granted necessary permissions.

Data Synchronization

4. Enter Synchronization Page: On the App's activity page, click on the connected device to enter the record synchronization operation page. You can authorize Strava in the App settings to synchronize data to the Strava platform simultaneously.

5. Sync and Delete: Select the records you wish to synchronize and click the 'Sync' button. The synchronized records will be automatically deleted from the computer after synchronization.

Attentions

The bicycle computer has a water resistance level of IPX7. It can be used in the rain if the protective cover on the back is closed tightly. However, it is recommended to remove the bicycle computer and place it in a waterproof bag if it rains heavily.
