These warnings, instructions, and safety guidelines address some common risks of water recreation, but they cannot cover all risks and dangers in all cases. Always use caution, common sense, and good judgment when enjoying any water activity. Retain this information for future use. Keep these instructions in a safe place. General Safety Precautions
WARNING: When using this electrical equipment, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including:
- Injury Risk: Do not permit children to use this product unless they are closely supervised at all times.
- A wire connector is provided to connect a minimum 8 AWG (8.37 mm²) solid copper conductor between the unit and any metal equipment, metal enclosures of electrical equipment, metal water pipe, or conduit within 5 feet (1.5m) of the unit.
- DANGER - Risk of Injury: Replace damaged cord immediately. Do not bury cord. Connect to a grounded, grounding type receptacle only.
- WARNING: This product is provided with a ground-fault circuit-interrupter (GFCI) integrated with the power plug. Test the GFCI before each use: With the product operating, press the test button; the product should stop. Press the reset button; the product should resume operation. If it fails, disconnect power until the fault is corrected.
- DANGER - Risk of Accidental Drowning: Exercise extreme caution to prevent unauthorized access by children. Ensure children are supervised at all times.
- DANGER - Risk of Injury: Suction fittings are sized for the pump's flow rate. Replace fittings or pump only with compatible parts. Never operate the spa if suction fittings are broken or missing. Never replace a suction fitting with one rated less than the original.
- DANGER - Risk of Electric Shock: Install at least 5 feet (1.5m) from all metal surfaces. Alternatively, connect metal surfaces within 5 feet to the unit's terminal box with a minimum 8 AWG (8.37 mm²) solid copper conductor.
- DANGER - Risk of Electric Shock: Do not permit any electric appliance (light, telephone, radio, television) within 5 feet (1.5m) of a spa.
- WARNING - Reduce Risk of Injury:
- Water temperature should never exceed 104°F (40°C). 100°F (38°C) to 104°F (40°C) is safe for healthy adults. Lower temperatures are recommended for children and for use exceeding 10 minutes.
- Pregnant women should limit spa water temperatures to 100°F (38°C) due to potential fetal damage.
- Always measure water temperature with an accurate thermometer before entering, as device tolerances vary.
- Alcohol, drugs, or medication before or during spa use may lead to unconsciousness and drowning.
- Obese persons and those with heart disease, blood pressure issues, circulatory problems, or diabetes should consult a physician before use.
- Persons using medication should consult a physician, as some may cause drowsiness or affect heart rate, blood pressure, and circulation.
- WARNING: To avoid electric shock, do not use the spa during storms. Keep the plug dry.
- Hyperthermia: Occurs when body temperature rises significantly above normal. Symptoms include dizziness, lethargy, drowsiness, fainting. Effects include failure to perceive heat, recognize the need to exit, unawareness of hazards, fetal damage, physical inability to exit, and unconsciousness leading to drowning. Alcohol, drugs, or medication increase this risk.
- WARNING: Water attracts children; always attach the spa cover after each use.
- WARNING: Never add water higher than 104°F (40°C) into the spa.
- CONSULT YOUR PHYSICIAN FOR RECOMMENDATIONS.
- CAUTION: Do not unfold/inflate if ambient temperature is below 59°F (15°C). Inflate indoors and continue setup outdoors. If outdoor temperature is below 42.8°F (6°C), the spa heater must always be on to activate the Freeze Shield™ system, keeping the internal temperature between 42.8°F (6°C) and 50°F (10°C) to prevent freezing damage.
- IMPORTANT: If Freeze Shield™ system isn't working, alarms will appear. Check spa status if outdoor temperature is below 42.8°F (6°C). For long absences when temperatures may fall below 42.8°F (6°C), disassemble and store the spa.
- CAUTION: Do not use the spa alone.
- CAUTION: Always enter and exit the spa slowly and cautiously; surfaces are slippery.
- CAUTION: Never operate the pump unless the spa is filled with water to avoid damage.
- CAUTION: Immediately leave spa if feeling uncomfortable or sleepy.
- NOTE: Examine equipment before use. Notify Bestway for damaged or missing parts. Verify components match the intended model.
- This device complies with FCC Part 15. Operation is subject to two conditions: no harmful interference, and acceptance of any interference received. Changes not expressly approved may void user authority.
- This equipment complies with FCC Part 15 limits for Class B digital devices, providing reasonable protection against harmful interference in residential installations. It generates, uses, and radiates RF energy.
- If interference occurs, try reorienting the antenna, increasing separation, connecting to a different circuit, or consulting a dealer/technician.

Spa Suction Fitting Instructions
Follow basic safety precautions when installing and using the equipment.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS: READ, FOLLOW, AND UNDERSTAND ALL INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS.
- Any modification increasing circulation system flow rate requires re-evaluation of the cover/grate and sump to ensure Suction Outlet Fitting Assembly (SOFA) flow rating is not exceeded.
- Missing, broken, or cracked SOFA components (cover/grates, sumps, mud-frames) must be replaced before use.
- Loose cover/grates must be reattached before use.
- Replace suction fittings every 3 years.
- Adhesives or attachment methods preventing access to suction piping or SOFA components requiring periodic servicing are prohibited.
- Refer to diagrams for SOFA component instructions (S01, S03 shown).
- Unauthorized field modifications void SOFA certification.
- No modification to SOFA structure or flow path is allowed unless the new configuration is certified as a new SOFA.
- Cover/grates and SOFA components must be replaced at or before their service life ends, starting from the month/year of installation.
- Winterizing: Dry suction fittings completely. Store in a dry room at 59°F~104°F (15°C~40°C).
- Observe cover/grate and fasteners for damage daily.
- Replace damaged/missing cover/grates before use.
- Reattach loose cover/grates and components before use.
- Ensure SOFA components and fastener receptacles are clean and free of debris during installation.
- Hand-check cover/grate snugness to the sump/frame after installation.
- Before use, check suction fitting integrity. Do not use if broken.
- All SOFAs must be installed per manufacturer's instructions.
- No modification to SOFA structure or flow path is allowed unless certified to the original SOFA.
- SOFA-specific flow ratings must not be exceeded when the pool is open to bathers.
- Cover/grates, when installed, shall not protrude more than 2 in. (51 mm) from the pool's finished surface.

Choose the Correct Location
Suitable for indoor and outdoor, above-ground, portable wiring, and portable spa use.
For Spas Equipped With Wi-Fi:
Refer to the Spa Wi-Fi instruction leaflet included in the package and these instructions.
For All Spas:
The chosen surface must meet the following technical characteristics:
- The surface must uniformly support the total weight of the spa and users.
- An adequate drainage system is required for overflow water.
- The surface must be flat and smooth. Uneven surfaces can create unbalanced loading and damage the structure.
- The selected surface must be clear of any objects that could damage or perforate the spa bottom.
- The location must not have overhead power lines or trees, and must not contain underground utility pipes, lines, or cables.
- The selected position must be far from the house entrance. Do not place equipment or furniture around the spa, as water spillage can cause damage.
- Do not install on carpet or other porous materials that harbor moisture or bacteria, or that can be affected by spa chemicals.
- Consult local government authority for installation regulations.
Suggested set-up surfaces: grass, ground, concrete, and other suitable surfaces.
Not suggested surfaces: mud, sand, gravel, deck, balcony, driveway, platform, soft/loose soil, or surfaces not meeting the above conditions.
Indoor Installation:
- Be aware of humidity effects on wood, paper, etc. Provide adequate ventilation. Consult an expert if more ventilation is needed.
- Maintain suitable air treatment (ventilation and dehumidification) for bather safety and comfort.
- Empty the spa before removing it from the indoor location.
Outdoor Installation:
- Ensure the surface is clear of aggressive plants and weed species that could grow through the liner and cause leaks. Remove vegetation that may cause odor or slime.
- Do not expose the spa surface to direct sunlight for long periods. Protect it with a cover when not in use.
Failure to follow surface and location instructions may result in damaged parts not covered by warranty. The owner is responsible for ensuring site requirements are met.
- Consult local installers for environmental conditions like groundwater and frost risk.
- Protect the spa from direct sunlight exposure with a cover when not in use.
Installation
Follow drawings on the package for installation instructions. Drawings are for illustration purposes only and may not reflect the actual product. Not to scale.
Recommendations During Installation
- Keep the spa away from rest areas to minimize noise disturbance.
- Maintain at least 1m clearance around the spa.
- Bestway does not recommend using sea water, as salt can corrode internal metal components.
- The filtration system is designed for the filter cartridge only. Other components added to the filter set can cause damage, which is not covered by customer service.
Inflation Information
- Air expulsion from the inflation hose connection during inflation is normal.
- Do not cover the holes on the base of the inflation hose, as this can over-inflate the liner and damage the structure.
- Do not use an air compressor to inflate the spa.
- Do not drag the spa on rough ground, as this may damage the spa liner. Inflation time is for reference only.
Using the Spa
Control Panel
LOCK/UNLOCK BUTTON: The pump has a 5-minute auto-lock. Press and hold for 3 seconds to lock or unlock the pump. The lock indicator light will turn on.
POWER-SAVING TIMER BUTTON: Set time and duration for heating cycles.
- Press the button; the LED starts to flash.
- Press ▲ or ▼ to adjust heating duration (1-999 hours).
- Press the button again to confirm duration.
- The LED flashes again. Press ▲ or ▼ to set the start time (0-999 hours). This is the waiting period before heating activates. A setting of 0 hours activates heating immediately.
- Press the button again or wait 10 seconds to confirm. The LED lights steadily, showing the countdown. The screen flashes current temperature and time alternately.
- To modify settings: Press the button and use ▲ or ▼.
- To cancel: Press the button for 2 seconds.
When power saving is active, only heating is disabled; massage and filtration can be used. This function is not automatic and must be reset after each cycle.
HEAT BUTTON: Press to activate the heating system. Red light indicates heating is active; green light indicates the set temperature is reached. Filtration system starts automatically when heating is activated and continues after heating is turned off.
HYDROJET SYSTEM BUTTON: Press to activate the HydroJet function. Red light indicates activation. The system shuts off automatically after 1 hour. Do not dry run the HydroJet System.
MASSAGE SYSTEM BUTTON: Press to activate the massage system (30-minute auto-shutoff). Red light indicates activation. Do not run the massage system with the cover attached, as air accumulation can damage the cover. Heat and massage can be activated simultaneously.
2-LEVEL MASSAGE REGULATION: Press once for full power (display shows L1). Press again for lower power (display shows L2). Press a third time to shut off the massage function.
TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT BUTTONS: Press ▲ or ▼ to adjust temperature. The display flashes the set temperature for 3 seconds, then shows the real water temperature. Default is 35°C (95°F). Range: 20°C (68°F) to 40°C (104°F).
ON/OFF BUTTON: After activating the PRCD, press and hold for 2 seconds to activate the control panel (button turns green). Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn off all functions.
°C/°F CELSIUS/FAHRENHEIT TOGGLE: Switch temperature display between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
WATER FILTER BUTTON: Press to turn the filter pump on/off. Red light indicates activation.
Wi-Fi ACTIVATION: Refer to the spa Wi-Fi instruction leaflet for operation instructions.
Water Heater Rate Considerations:
- Rate may change when outdoor temperature is below 15°C (59°F).
- Always keep the spa cover on when not in use to prevent dust contamination and minimize heat loss.
- Water temperature display may be inaccurate if the filtration system is not activated. Run filtration for at least one minute for accurate readings.
- External thermometer readings may vary from the spa panel display by approximately 2°C (35.6°F).
Winter Use Instruction (Freeze Shield™)
Follow these suggestions to prevent damage during winter setup and extend product life.
- If outdoor temperature is below 10°C (50°F), keep the package indoors above 15°C (59°F) for easier setup.
- Inflate the spa liner in a room above 15°C (59°F) using the spa heater.
- Position the liner outdoors and connect the heater. Fill with water above 6°C (42.8°F) to avoid E03 alarm.
- The spa can remain on when the temperature is below 6°C (42.8°F). The Freeze Shield™ system maintains water temperature between 6°C (42.8°F) and 10°C (50°F) to prevent freezing.
- If water temperature is below 6°C (42.8°F), the spa heater must always be on.
- If alarms appear, the Freeze Shield™ system may not be working. Check spa status if outdoor temperature is below 6°C (42.8°F).
- For long absences in freezing conditions, disassemble and store the spa.
- Damage from winter use is the customer's responsibility. Do not use the spa if ambient temperature reaches -10°C (14°F).

Heating duration to reach 40°C (104°F) depends on starting water and ambient temperatures. Data is for reference only.

- Setup and heating for the first time below 10°C (50°F) is not recommended due to long heating times.
- To reach and maintain 40°C (104°F), outdoor temperature must not be lower than -5°C (23°F).
- Do not operate the spa below -10°C (14°F).
- Always cover the spa when the heating function is activated.
- Do not switch off the spa heater if the temperature is lower than 6°C (42.8°F) when the spa is assembled with water.

Maintenance
CAUTION: Ensure the pump is unplugged before maintenance to avoid injury or death.
Liner
- Liner may appear to lose air due to changes in ambient temperature affecting internal air pressure.
- When detaching the pump, block the air pipe with the cap and install stoppers on debris screens to prevent water leakage.
Cover
Clean the cover inside and outside periodically with a gentle detergent for PVC material.
Filter Cartridge
- Check and clean the filter cartridge daily for optimal performance.
- Replace the filter cartridge weekly or if it remains soiled/discolored after washing.
Water
Pollutants can cause bacterial, algal, or fungal growth. Clean spas regularly. Stains or biofilms may develop. Change water completely and clean/disinfect as needed. Observe draining regulations.
- Keep spa water clean and chemically balanced. Use pool chemicals and a chemical dispenser for chlorine or bromine tablets (not granules).
- Water quality depends on usage frequency, number of users, and maintenance. Change water every 3 days if no chemical treatment is used.
- Use tap water for filling to minimize mineral influence.
- Shower before use to remove cosmetic products, lotions, and skin residues that degrade water quality.
- Do not throw chemical products directly into the water; they can deposit on the bottom, damage material, and discolor PVC.
Chemical Tablets (Not Included):
- Remove the chemical dispenser when the spa is in use.
- Use a test kit to check water chemistry after chemical maintenance and before use. Maintain water balance as follows:

Spa damage from misuse of chemicals or improper water management is not covered by warranty. Pool chemicals are toxic; handle with care. Consult local pool/chemical suppliers and follow manufacturer instructions.
Overuse of chemicals can discolor material and damage the spa liner.
Disassembly and Storage
Draining
Follow drawings in the manual for draining. Drawings are for illustration purposes only and may not reflect the actual product.
Drying
- After draining, ensure the spa pump, liner chamber, massage chain, and inflatable cover are completely dry to prevent mildew and extend spa life.
- Water in the liner chamber and cover comes from humidity; quantity may vary.
- Follow drawings in the manual for drying parts.
Cleaning
Detergent residues and dissolved solids can build up. Use soap and water to clean walls, then rinse thoroughly. Do not use hard brushes or abrasive cleaners.
Deflating (For Inflatable Spas)
Your spa has a deflation function to remove air for easier packing and storage. Follow drawings in the manual.
Repairing
For PVC Material:
If the spa is torn or punctured, use the provided PVC repair patch:
- Clean the repair area.
- Carefully peel the patch.
- Press patch over the damaged area.
- Wait 30 seconds before inflation.
For Duraplus™ PVC Material:
Use the provided PVC patch and glue (not included):
- Clean and dry the repair area.
- Cut the PVC patch to size.
- Apply glue to one side of the patch and distribute evenly. Wait 30 seconds.
- Place the glued patch over the damaged area.
- Smooth out air bubbles and press firmly for two minutes.
- Wait 30 minutes before inflation.
Storage
- Remove all accessories. Ensure spa liner, inflatable cover, pump, and accessories are completely clean and dry before storing. Incomplete drying can lead to mold and damage.
- Fold the spa liner only if the environment temperature is above 10°C (50°F).
- Store the spa in a dry place with moderate temperatures between 10°C (50°F) and 38°C (100°F).
- Store the spa liner and inflatable cover in a carton box for better protection during winter months.
