Model: 002-10390-00
⚠️ WARNING
To prevent risk of shock, always disconnect power before removing covers or performing any service procedure.
Step 1: Remove Electrical Connections
- Disconnect main power to equipment.
- Note location of current wires attached to contactor.
- Remove all wires from contactor.
Note: The contactor will only move up or down in one direction. Try both directions until you know which way to apply pressure.
Diagram shows a contactor mounted on a Din Rail. Arrows indicate two possible methods of removal: pressing down and sliding, or pressing up and sliding.
Step 2: Remove/Replace Contactor
- Apply up or down pressure to the contactor, compressing the spring providing tension on the Din Rail.
- Rotate the opposite end of the contactor (from where you are applying pressure) away from the Din Rail and remove it.
- Hook the top of the new contactor onto the Din Rail and rotate the bottom, applying pressure until it snaps onto the Din Rail.
- Install all wires onto the contactor and connect the main power.
Note: Contactors can be mounted with the tension spring located on the top or bottom of the Din Rail. Push the contactor in the direction you feel it move.
Diagram shows a close-up of a contactor being attached to a Din Rail, with an arrow indicating the snapping motion.
