Installation Overview
This document provides instructions for installing the Midmark Manifold Installation Kit. The kit includes components for syringe, low speed handpiece, high speed handpiece, and scaler connections.
Referenced Components: Manifolds (Four Handpieces, Fifth Handpiece Manifold), Mounting Plate Screws, Manifold Screws, Sleeve Clamp, Uni-Clamps.
Installation Steps
Step 1: Power Down
Turn the power switch to the 'Off' position. Unplug the dental delivery system from the power cord.

Step 2: Release Pressure
Release pressure from the pressure tank. Hold a cloth on the tube and open the valve.

Step 3: Open Unit Lid
Remove the mat from the lid. Open the top lid by pulling the lever back and lifting the lid completely up.

Step 4: Disconnect Tubing (High Speed Manifold Kit Example)
Remove tubing from the desired manifold block and label each tube as needed for identification.

Step 5: Remove Old Mounting Plate (High Speed Manifold Kit Example)
Remove the two screws securing the manifold mounting plate.

Step 6: Replace Manifold (High Speed Manifold Kit Example)
Remove the old manifold by unscrewing the two screws. Replace it with the new manifold and secure it using the provided two screws.

Step 7: Install Mounting Plate
Install the manifold mounting plate using the two screws.

Step 8a: Four Handpiece Manifold Tubing Connections
Connect tubing with sleeve clamps and uni-clamps to the manifold components in the delivery system as shown in the diagram.

Step 8b: Five Handpiece Manifold Tubing Connections
Connect tubing with sleeve clamps and uni-clamps to the manifold components in the delivery system as shown in the diagram.

Step 9: Close Unit Lid
Close the lid and push down on the middle section until a 'Click' sound is heard.

Step 10: Install Lid Mat
Install the mat onto the lid.

Step 11: Power On
Plug the dental delivery system back into the power outlet and turn the power switch to the 'On' position.
