Important Safety Information
WARNING: To prevent risk of shock, always disconnect power before removing covers or performing any service procedure.
Step 1: PC Board Removal
- Disconnect power. Remove the right side cover.
- Tag and disconnect all wire harnesses from the PC board.
- Cut the cable tie. Disconnect tubing from the pressure sensor.
- Remove two nuts and the PC board/bracket.
Step 2: PC Board Installation
- Install the PC board/bracket. Secure with two nuts.
- Connect tubing to the pressure sensor. Secure with a high-temperature cable tie.
- Connect all wire harnesses to the PC board.
WARNING: Some procedures require power to be connected with covers removed. Line voltage is present. Use extreme caution to prevent electric shock.
Step 3: PC Board Unit Configuration
- Move Switch #2 to ON. Reconnect the power cord.
- Adjust PC Board configuration by following prompts on the display panel. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust settings. Press the 'P' button when finished.
Example 1: Configuration Prompts
Display: CONFIGURE UNIT MODE
Chamber Size:
- M9/M9D = 9 INCH
- M11 = 11 INCH
Feature Set:
- M9/M11 = FULLY FEATURED
- M9D = DEFEATURED
C) Unplug the power cord. Move Switch #2 to OFF.
Step 4: PC Board Serial Number Configuration
- Move Switch #7 to ON. Reconnect the power cord.
- Adjust Serial Number configuration by following prompts on the display panel. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust each digit. Press the 'P' button to proceed to the next digit and save when finished.
Example 2: Serial Number Input
Display: SERIAL NUMBER MODE
Action: Press 'Start' to initialize the Serial Number menu.
Display: SET SERIAL NUMBER VXXXXXXX
Action: The '+' and '-' buttons adjust each digit from 1 through 9.
Action: Press 'P' to store each digit and proceed to the next. Repeat as necessary for all remaining Serial Number digits.
Note: Once Serial Number is saved, it cannot be changed.
C) Unplug the power cord. Move Switch #7 to OFF.
D) Install the right side cover.
Note: Serial Number is located on the back of the sterilizer.
Step 5: Set Up User Settings
- Press and hold the '+' button while plugging in the power cord until the User Settings screen appears.
- Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust settings. Press the 'P' button when finished.
Example 3: User Settings
Display: USER SETTINGS MODE
Units of Measure: ENGLISH or METRIC
Time Clock: YEAR / MONTH / DAY, HOUR / AM or PM / MINUTE
Action: Press 'Start' to initialize User Settings menus.
Action: The '+' and '-' buttons alternate settings between English or Metric.
Display: SET DISPLAY TYPE: ENGLISH
Action: When desired Units of Measure appear on the display, press '<+> OR <-> TO ADJUST'.
Action: To store desired Units of Measure, press '
FOR NEXT'. This brings up Time Clock programming display.
Action: The '+' and '-' buttons adjust values for the following settings: Year / Month / Day / Hour / AM or PM / Minute.
Display: SET YEAR: 2016
Action: When desired values appear on display, press '<+> OR <-> TO ADJUST'.
Action: To store setting and bring up the next setting in the list, press 'P'. Repeat as necessary for all settings. When all settings are completed, pressing 'P' will initiate normal power up.
Note: User Settings for Date and Clock must be updated manually for daylight savings.
