Product Overview
The Claber Duplo Evolution is a watering timer designed for programming garden irrigation for two separate lines (A and B). It features 6 daily watering programs, with each line capable of up to three watering cycles per day. Programs 1, 3, and 5 are for line A, while programs 2, 4, and 6 are for line B.

- Do not power the timer with sources other than the specified 9V alkaline battery.
- Do not use the timer with chemicals or liquids other than water.
- Do not install the timer inside valve boxes, below ground level, or indoors.
- Ensure the battery is replaced at the beginning of each season.
- Never replace the battery while the timer is watering.
- After replacing the battery, reset the current time and date.
- Keep the protective cover closed at all times.
- Use mains water or filter the water before use.
- The product must not be treated as normal domestic waste; it should be taken to an appropriate collection point for recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
Installation and Setup
Connecting to the Tap:
- The timer features a 3/4" F tap connector and a 1/2" threaded male connector.
- Ensure the connector is properly inserted.
Installing the Rain Sensor (Optional):
- Remove the bridge connector (1) on the timer.
- Insert the Rain Sensor connector (2).
- Irrigation will not start if the Rain Sensor container is full (at least 5 mm of rainfall). Irrigation in progress will be interrupted within 1 minute of the container filling.
Programming the Timer
The timer allows setting of opening and closing times for each of the 6 programs. Programs must be set in sequential order within a 24-hour period. The timer automatically advances by 1 minute in both OPEN and CLOSED modes.
Setting the Day/Time:
- Press a button to enter settings mode.
- Use arrow keys to navigate and ENTER to confirm.
- To set the current time and date, navigate to the time page and adjust the values.
Enabling/Disabling Days:
- Navigate to the weekly program page.
- Use arrow keys to position the cursor under the desired day.
- Press ENTER to enable or disable the day for watering.
- Settings apply to both lines.
- To exit, navigate to EXIT and press ENTER.
Setting Watering Times (OPEN/CLOSED):
- Navigate to the desired program page (e.g., Program 1 - Line A).
- Set the opening time (start of irrigation) and closing time (end of irrigation).
- The next program cannot be set before the preceding one.
- Each watering cycle can be set from a minimum of 1 minute up to a maximum of 60 minutes (manual irrigation). The total duration for all programs cannot exceed 23 hours and 59 minutes.
Manual Watering:
- Access the manual watering page.
- Press the left arrow key to start irrigation.
- Each press of the button increases the irrigation time by 5 minutes, up to a maximum of 60 minutes.
- Press the right arrow key to stop the cycle early.
Deleting a Program:
- Navigate to the CLOSED mode of the program you wish to delete.
- Press ENTER, then press both arrow keys simultaneously.
Resetting the Timer:
- To perform a full reset, press and hold both arrow buttons simultaneously for at least 10 seconds.
Battery Replacement
- Use only new 9V Alkaline 6LR61 batteries with an expiry date exceeding one year.
- Replace the battery at the beginning of each season.
- A low battery indicator will be displayed.
Maintenance
- The filter is inspectable and washable. Clean it regularly to ensure optimal performance.
Warranty Information
The device is guaranteed for two years from the date of purchase, provided proof of purchase is retained. Claber guarantees the product against material and manufacturing defects. The warranty is void in cases of improper use, unauthorized tampering, faulty installation, or damage from environmental factors.
