MUSE M-695DBT Bluetooth Micro System with DAB+/FM Radio, CD and USB Port
Introduction
This manual provides instructions for operating the MUSE M-695DBT Bluetooth Micro System. Please read carefully before use.

Remote Control Buttons:

Installing Battery
Insert 2 "AAA/ UM4" batteries into the remote control before use. Ensure correct polarity (+/-).
Notes: Never recharge, heat, or disassemble batteries. Remove batteries if the remote is not used for a long time. Dispose of batteries responsibly.
Caution: Danger of explosion if battery is replaced incorrectly. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
Power Supply
Use the supplied AC adaptor (100-240V ~ 50/60Hz). Do not use with other equipment. Turn off the unit before unplugging. Disconnect from AC outlet when not in use for extended periods. Ensure the outlet is easily accessible.
Energy Saving: The unit automatically switches to Standby mode after 15 minutes of inactivity or if playback ends with low volume.
Turning Unit On/Off
Press the button to turn on the unit. Long press the button on the unit or press the button on the remote control to turn off the unit.
Selecting Function
When the unit is on, repeatedly press the SOURCE button to select the desired mode: DAB+, FM, Bluetooth, CD, USB, AUX.
Adjusting Volume
Rotate the SELECT +/- knob on the unit or press the / buttons on the remote control to adjust the volume level.
Audio Controls
Loudness
Press the LD button on the remote to enter loudness setting mode. Use / to select ON/OFF and press to confirm.
Bass/Treble
Press the AUDIO button to set Bass. Use / to adjust the value and press to confirm. Treble will blink automatically after Bass is set; use / to adjust and press to confirm.
Muting the Sound
Press the button to mute the sound. Press again to restore.
EQ (Equalizer)
Press the EQ button to enter EQ setting mode. Use / to select sound effects (Default, Rock, Classic, Jazz, Pop) and press to confirm.
Setting the Time and Date
- In standby mode, press and hold MENU to access the main menu.
- Rotate SELECT to "Time setup", then press SELECT.
- Rotate SELECT to "Set time", then press SELECT to confirm.
- Use SELECT to set the date (DD/MM/YYYY) and time (HH:MM). Press SELECT to confirm each setting.
- Rotate SELECT to "Clock format", then press SELECT to confirm.
- Rotate SELECT to choose "24" or "12" hour format and press SELECT to confirm.
Setting the Alarm and Alarm Mode
In standby mode, press ALM. to access alarm setting. Rotate SELECT to choose an option and/or adjust settings, then press SELECT to confirm.
Select "Alarm 1" or "Alarm 2", then press SELECT.
- Enable: Off, Daily, Once, Weekdays, Weekends
- Time: Set alarm time
- Mode: Set wake-up source (DAB, FM, BUZZER)
- Preset: Select last-listened or desired preset station (only for DAB/FM)
- Volume: Set alarm volume
- Save: Select to confirm settings. "Saved" will appear, and the alarm indicator will be displayed.
Note: The alarm indicator blinks when the alarm time is reached. Observe AM/PM indicator for 12-hour format.
Stopping the Alarm
- Alarm Repetition (Snooze): Press any button except / to enter snooze mode. Display shows "Snooze" and remaining time. Adjust snooze time using SELECT or / buttons (04:59 < 09:59 < 14:59 < 29:59). Alarm and snooze indicators will blink.
- Alarm Stop: Press the button to stop the alarm.
- Alarm Cancellation: Press ALM., select Alarm 1 or 2, select
, then select and press SELECT to confirm cancellation. The alarm indicator will disappear.
Sleep Function
When the unit is ON, long press the SLEEP button to enter sleep setting mode. Use / to select listening time (15-30-45-60-90-120 minutes) and press to confirm. The sleep icon and remaining time will display. The unit will turn off automatically. To cancel, select "Sleep off" and press .
Dimmer
When the unit is ON, press the DIM. button to enter backlight setting. Use / to select option and press to confirm.
- Time out: Always On > 10s > 20s > 30s > 45s > 60s > 90s > 120s > 180s
- Level: Select brightness level from 1 to 8
Listening to DAB/DAB+ Radio
Press SOURCE repeatedly to select the DAB icon . The unit performs a full scan if it's the first use or if the station list is empty. Display shows "Scanning...".
Manual Scan: Update station list if new stations become available, stations close, or reception was poor. Hold MENU to enter settings, select
Tuning: Select stations with / and press SELECT to confirm.
Notes: "No station found" appears if no broadcasts are found. Extend antenna for better reception. Sound is muted during search.
Listening to FM Radio
Press SOURCE repeatedly to select the FM icon . The FM frequency and program type information will be displayed. Tune to desired station with /.
Automatic Search: Long press / to locate strong stations.
Automatic Storage: Press and hold SCAN to automatically save the first 20 FM stations. Existing presets will be overwritten.
Note: Insert antenna cable into external aerial socket for better reception.
Preset Stations
The unit can store 20 FM and 20 DAB/DAB+ stations.
- Press SOURCE to select FM or DAB mode.
- Tune to a desired station.
- Press PRESET/SCAN or SCAN/PROG. to enter preset store mode.
- Rotate SELECT or press / to select a preset channel, then press and hold PRESET or SCAN/PROG. to confirm.
Quick Preset: Use number buttons to store/recall stations. For stations >10, use +10 then the number button (e.g., +10 then 4 for 14th station).
Listen to Presets: Press PRESET/SCAN once to display list, use / to select, and SELECT to confirm. Number buttons can also recall presets directly.

Pairing a Bluetooth Device
- Press SOURCE to select the Bluetooth icon . Display shows "Connecting...".
- On your Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and select "M-695DBT". Use "0000" if a passcode is required. You will hear an indication sound upon successful pairing.
Notes: Long press to disconnect. Reconnects automatically to the last paired device. Some devices may require selecting "Use as Audio Device (stereo)".
Using a Bluetooth Device
Operate your Bluetooth device for sound playback. Use / to select tracks and / for volume.
Using an NFC Device
NFC (Near Field Communication) enables short-range wireless communication. Enable NFC and Bluetooth on your device, tap the NFC device on the unit's NFC tag until you hear an indication voice. The display shows "Connected".
Note: Operational range is approximately 10 meters.
Stereo Pairing
Requires two M-695DBT speakers for stereo surround sound. Turn on both speakers, press on one to make it the main (left channel). It will search for the secondary (right channel). You'll hear "Stereo Pairing" upon successful connection. Connect your main speaker to a Bluetooth device.
Tip: Recommended distance between speakers is within 4 meters.
Listening to Disc (CD)
- Press SOURCE to select the CD icon . Display shows "Reading...". Press to open the disc tray, insert disc label-side up, and press again to close.
- After a few seconds, the total number of tracks will appear, and playback starts automatically.
Play Modes: Repeat (One, Folder, All), Random, Program playback (up to 32 tracks for CD, 99 for MP3). Use / to select tracks and PROG. to confirm programming.
Select Folder (MP3): Use / to select the first track of the next/previous folder.
Using Number Buttons: Input track number directly. For numbers >9, use 1-10 buttons (e.g., 1 then 4 for track 14).
USB Playback
- Connect a USB device to the USB MP3 port.
- Press SOURCE to select the USB icon . Display shows "Reading...". Playback starts automatically.
- Select desired track with /.
Notes: Max 999 MP3 files, 99 directories. Reading time varies. Do not insert non-USB devices. Do not connect directly to a computer.
Play Modes: Repeat (One, Folder, All), Random, Program playback (up to 99 tracks for MP3). Use / to select tracks and PROG. to confirm programming.
Select Folder (MP3): Use / to select the first track of the next/previous folder.
Using Number Buttons: Input track number directly. For numbers >9, use 1-10 buttons (e.g., 1 then 4 for track 14).
Connecting Auxiliary Source
Connect an auxiliary source (e.g., MP3 player) to the AUX IN jack (3.5mm) using the provided cable. Press SOURCE to select the AUX icon . Start playback from the auxiliary source and adjust volume. Disconnect to stop playback.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Disconnect from power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Regularly dust vents. Avoid solvents or abrasive cleaners.
Notes on Discs:
Do not use irregular shape CDs. Do not place more than one disc. Do not open compartment during playback. Avoid touching the lens. Clean discs if scratched or dirty. Store discs properly.
Important Note: Remove disc before transporting the unit.
Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure unit is connected to AC power.
- No Sound: Check external device volume and unit volume.
- Bluetooth Pairing/Connection Issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on device, unit is in pairing mode, or disconnect other devices.
