- Press and hold the button for 7 seconds until the green LED blinks rapidly.
- Open the eWeLink app and tap the '+' icon. Select the pairing mode based on the LED blinking pattern:
- Quick Pairing Mode (TOUCH): If the LED blinks in a specific pattern (described as a square shape in the original document), select this mode and tap 'Next'.
- Compatible Pairing Mode (AP): If the LED blinks in a different pattern, select this mode. For iOS users, go to Phone Settings > Wi-Fi, connect to the Wi-Fi network starting with 'ITEAD-*****' using the default password '12345678', then return to eWeLink and tap 'Next'.

6. Troubleshooting
For detailed FAQs, visit the Itead Smart Home Forum. If problems persist, submit feedback via the eWeLink app.
- Device Stays "Offline":
- Allow 1-2 minutes for the new device to connect.
- Green LED Status:
- Quick Blinks (repeating): Failed to connect to the router. Check Wi-Fi password, signal strength, ensure you are using 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (not 5GHz), and that your router's MAC filtering is open.
- Slow Blinks (repeating): Connected to router and server but failed to add to the device list. Power cycle the device; if it persists, re-add the device.
- Quick Blinks Twice (repeating): Connected to router but not server. Verify your Wi-Fi router is functioning correctly.
- APP Can't Find Device in Pairing Status: Clear your phone's Wi-Fi cache by turning Wi-Fi off and on again after a minute. Power cycle the Slampher and try pairing again.
- Expired Wi-Fi / LAN Control: Slampher previously supported LAN control (updated 15/10/2017), but this function has been stopped.
- Green LED Off / Device Unresponsive: The circuit may be broken. Return the device for testing. Return shipping and potential repair costs are the buyer's responsibility if the damage is due to the buyer.
