About the Product
This is a DC-DC charger with an isolated circuit, featuring automatic voltage regulation and MPPT technology. It includes a button to select up to 5 different battery types. The charger has a dual input: one for solar charging (default priority) and another for charging from a car generator. It is equipped with a delayed ACC start function, meaning it begins charging 10 seconds after receiving the engine start signal.
Product Features
- MPPT Function: Optimizes solar charging, increasing efficiency. ✔️
- Isolated Electrical Circuit: Separated from other circuits or power sources, providing enhanced safety and operational stability.
- Battery Type Change Button: Supports up to 5 different battery types.
- Dual Input: One for solar charging (priority), the other for charging from a car generator.
- Delayed ACC Start: The charger starts 10 seconds after receiving the engine start signal.
- Overheating and Short-Circuit Protection: Ensures safe charger operation.
- Automatic Charge Start: The charger begins charging automatically when the battery is connected.
- Automatic Disconnection: When the battery is fully charged (voltage reaches maximum for the type and current drops to 1/10 of the charger's maximum), the charger automatically disconnects and resumes operation every 90 seconds.
- LED Indicators: Provide information on battery and power status.
- Correct Terminal Connection: The charger requires at least 9 volts at the output terminals (battery) and a correct input voltage connection to function properly.
- On/Off Button: The product features a power on/off button.
- Battery Type Mode: Quickly change battery type using the MODE button.
Input Voltage Range
- For Car Generator: 12.0V - 15.8V ± 0.2V. When the input voltage is between 12V and 13V, the charger requires the generator trigger signal (10-16V) to operate correctly. (Refer to Figure 1 in Appendix).
- For Solar Power: 12.0V - 30.0V ± 0.2V. The charger operates normally within this range. When the voltage drops to 11V, it shuts off automatically. Note: Exceeding a solar voltage of 40V can damage the charger. (Refer to Illustration 2 in Appendix).
Safety Instructions
- Do not use the charger in humid, hot, or flammable areas.
- Do not open the casing while the charger is operating.
- Avoid touching exposed parts during charging to prevent electric shock.
- Use original power cables to avoid damage from defective or unsuitable cables.
- Do not exceed the maximum voltage or current values for the inputs and outputs.
- When connecting or disconnecting cables, ensure the charger is turned off and has cooled down.
- Periodically check that the charger's cables and connections are not damaged or loose.
- If the charger overheats, emits smoke, or smells, turn it off immediately and discontinue use.
Anderson Connector
The charger uses Anderson connectors for power input and output.
- Connect the red cable to the battery's positive terminal and the black cable to the negative terminal.
- Connect the yellow cable to the car generator's positive pole and the black cable to the negative pole.
- Connect the green cable to the solar panel's positive pole and the black cable to the negative pole.
- Connect the blue cable to the car generator's 10-16 volt trigger line (ACC line).
Note: The black cable is the common negative cable.
Unit Operation
-
Preparation for Use:
A. Ensure the charger is turned off before installing and connecting it.
B. Install the charger in a well-ventilated, dry location, away from heat sources.

Protection
-
Short-Circuit Protection:
The fault indicator light remains on during a short circuit. In case of a prolonged short circuit, the charger restarts every 90 seconds. It resumes operation 90 seconds after the short circuit is removed. -
Overheating Protection:
When the internal temperature exceeds 70°C, the fault light starts blinking. The charger will automatically adjust the output to maintain a constant temperature of 70°C, both internally and externally. -
Reverse Polarity Protection:
If the polarity of the input and output terminals is reversed, the charger will not function. It will resume normal operation once the polarity is corrected.
Troubleshooting
