2.0 General Notes
- We recommend 1 to 2 people for assembly.
- Note: A suitable Phillips screwdriver is required for assembly.
- ATTENTION! Keep small children away during setup, as there is a risk of injury!
- Please note that screws should first of all be inserted by hand and only slightly tightened so that the screws find purchase and loosely connect the elements.
- Screws must only be fully tightened once all the elements are connected in this way. Subsequent tightening of the screws can compensate for minor discrepancies in drill holes that can be present in hand-finished products.
- Ensure that this product is fully assembled before use. Check that all screws and bolts are securely tightened. Do this on a regular basis.
- Do not screw the screws in too tightly as the material may become damaged and cracks may form.
- To maintain quality and also reduce the time and effort required for maintenance, we recommend protecting the product from the sun and rain and exposure to the elements. When not in use, you should store your product in a dry, protected place. We recommend using a suitable protective cover.
- Failure to carry out regular care and maintenance will significantly shorten the lifespan of your product. We cannot accept any liability for consequential damage resulting from lack of care and maintenance.
- Make sure that the product stands securely on a level, solid and load-bearing surface.
- Ensure that the folding mechanism is properly locked in place.
- Note: An initial cracking noise, e.g. when sitting on benches, is completely normal. These noises will subside with continued use.
- CAUTION! Keep fingers and limbs away from moving parts to prevent trapping!

5.0 Maintenance and Care Information
Use a cloth and warm soapy water for cleaning. Do not use cleaners or detergents containing solvents; substances such as bleach can damage the product. You may find further care instructions on the product. Regular cleaning, checking and maintenance increase the item's safety and lifespan.
Wood care instructions
Before assembly, wash the wooden parts with lukewarm water and a light soap solution to remove any wood dust, excess oil or pre-treatment residues. Even natural hardwood products require regular care by oiling them at least twice a year.
Before re-oiling, rub the wood with fine sandpaper and clean as previously described. Then treat according to the instructions of your wood care product as before.
Damage caused by failure to treat the wood with oil is not covered by the warranty. Changes in surface colour, greying and small cracks are normal with natural products and are not grounds for complaint. Regularly treating your natural product with oil delays this process. By following these care instructions, you will be able to enjoy your new natural product for a long time to come.
Do not place wooden furniture directly on your lawn or porous surfaces. Despite oiling, the moisture from soil and grass can lead to mould growth or similar and damage your furniture. Hardwood furniture should not be left out in the rain for long periods of time. If you use a protective oil with colour pigments, it is possible for these pigments to wash off. We accept no liability for any consequently stained surfaces.
