DigiTech Mosaic 12 String Effect
Owner's Manual
Introduction
Thank you for choosing the DigiTech Mosaic 12-string effect pedal. The Mosaic creates a lush, shimmering chordal effect reminiscent of a 12-string guitar and can be used with both acoustic and electric instruments. Thanks to its True Bypass design, your tone remains untouched when bypassing the effect.
The LEVEL control blends the amount of 12-string effect added to your dry signal. The TONE control provides high-frequency enhancement to the effect signal as it is increased.
To use the Mosaic pedal, engage the effect via the footswitch (the LED will light up when the effect is on), turn the LEVEL knob to blend in the desired amount of effect, and then adjust the TONE knob to set the level of high-end – frequency enhancement to be applied to the effect signal.
If your guitar sounds too bright, try lowering the LEVEL knob and increasing the TONE knob. Gentle LEVEL settings around the 9 o'clock position work well for chords. Higher LEVEL settings around the 12 o'clock position work well for arpeggios.

Power Connector, 2. Level Knob, 3. Tone Knob, 4. Output Connector, 5. Input Connector, 6. Effect LED, 7. Effect Footswitch.
Example Settings
To get started, try these settings:
Thickener: LEVEL [Dial at approximately 10 o'clock], TONE [Dial at approximately 10 o'clock]
Arpeggio w/Electric Guitar: LEVEL [Dial at approximately 12 o'clock], TONE [Dial at approximately 11 o'clock]
Chords w/Acoustic Guitar: LEVEL [Dial at approximately 9 o'clock], TONE [Dial at approximately 1 o'clock]
Connections and Power Application
To connect the Mosaic pedal to your setup:
- Lower your amplifier's master volume control.
- Make all audio connections to the Mosaic as shown below.
- Connect the supplied power adapter to the POWER input connector and plug the other end into an available AC outlet.
- Strum your guitar and gradually increase your amplifier's master volume control until you reach your desired level.
Diagram Description: A connection diagram illustrating the setup. A guitar is connected via an instrument cable to the INPUT of the DigiTech Mosaic pedal. The OUTPUT of the Mosaic is connected to the INPUT of an amplifier. Other pedals are shown connected in a chain, either before or after the Mosaic, labeled 'OTHER PEDALS'. The PS0913DC POWER SUPPLY is depicted connected to the Mosaic's power input and to a wall outlet. Text indicates: 'Use unbalanced TS instrument cables only.' and 'OPTIONAL ---'.
NOTE: The Mosaic should be the first pedal in your effects chain. Placing any effect before it may affect its pitch-shifting performance.
