WARNING
- The pump must be supplied by an isolating transformer or supplied through a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA.
- Consult a qualified electrician for any questions.
- The power source on the wall of building should keep more than 4m away from pool and at a height of 1.2m at least.
- Extension cords can't be used.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Usage Guidelines
- Ensure the filter pump is fixed at least 3.5 meters away from the pool. Keep distance as far as possible.
- The power outlet must be accessible after pool installation. The pump's plug shall be at least 3.50m away from the pool.
- When the appliance will not be used for a long time, such as in winter, the pool set should be disassembled and stored indoors.
- Electric installations should follow national wiring rules.
- Only use media provided or specified by the manufacturer for product installation.
- It is essential to check that the suction openings are not obstructed.
- It is advisable to stop filtration during maintenance operations on the filtration system.
- Regularly monitor the filter clogging level. A weekly check is recommended for cleaning.
- Minimum daily filtration operating time of 8 hours is recommended to ensure clear pool water.
- Change any damaged element or set of elements as soon as possible. Use only parts approved by the person responsible for placing the product on the market.
- All filters and filter media shall be inspected regularly to ensure there is no build-up of detritus preventing good filtration. Disposal of any used filter media should also be in accordance with applicable regulations/legislation.
- Water circulation installation shall comply with European as well as national/local regulations, especially concerning electrical issues. Any change of valve position, pump size, or grille size can cause a change in flow and increase suction velocity.
- Please read the instruction manual carefully and keep it for future reference.
- If instructions are missed, contact Bestway or search on www.bestwaycorp.com.
Technical Safety Instructions
- Risk of electric shock: never run the filter pump when people are swimming in the pool.
- The appliance must be supplied by an earthed power source.
- Do not bury the cord. Locate the cord to minimize abuse from lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, and other equipment.
- This pump is for use with storable pools only. Do not use with permanently-installed pools. A storable pool is constructed to be easily disassembled for storage and reassembled. A permanently-installed pool cannot be easily disassembled.
- Using the pump with an unmatched electrical supply is dangerous and will result in catastrophic failure.
- When working with electricity, turn off power at the circuit breaker and lock the breaker door. Failure to do so increases the risk of shock, injury, and possibly death.
- Do not remove the grounding prong or modify the plug. Do not use adaptor plugs. Consult a qualified electrician for questions about plug grounding.
- Handle the pump with care. Do not pull or carry the pump by the power cord. Never pull a plug by yanking the power cord. Keep the cord free from abrasions. Sharp objects, oil, moving parts, and heat should never be exposed to the filter pump.
- Cleaning and user maintenance must be performed by an adult over 18 years old familiar with the risk of electric shock.
- In case of doubt, contact a qualified installer, or the manufacturer/importer/distributor.
- Mind all safety requirements and recommendations in the manual.
- Atmospheric conditions can affect performance and lifespan. Shelter the pump from cold, heat, and sun exposure when possible.
- Ensure factory-equipped stopper plugs replace screens for inlet/outlet ports before removal or maintenance.
- Do not add chemicals to the filter pump.
- Do not plug or unplug the appliance with wet hands.
- Always unplug the appliance: on rainy days, before cleaning or maintenance, and when leaving it unattended.
- This product is not intended for commercial use.
RCD Warnings
- Risk of electric shock. The RCD plug must be tested before each use.
- Do not use the pump if this test fails. For assistance, visit www.bestwaycorp.com/support.
- Insert the RCD plug into a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA.
- Before inserting the plug, ensure the power outlet's current rating is suitable for the pump.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Attaching a Base
The EN60335-2-41 TEST standard requires the filter pump to be vertically fixed on the ground or a base made of wood or concrete before use. The base should have two 7mm diameter holes with a 256mm spacing. Place the filter pump on the base and attach using bolts and nuts. All base parts should weigh at least 18kg to prevent accidental falling.
Diagram Description: Shows dimensions for a base with two M6 bolt holes spaced 256mm apart.
Setup
Check List
To check parts included, consult the part list in this manual. Verify equipment components match your intended purchase. For damaged or missing parts, visit www.bestwaycorp.com/support.
Choose the Correct Location
Place the Filter Pump on solid, level ground at the same level as the pool base. Incorrect positioning can compromise performance and lifespan. The pool and pump must be in an area with adequate drainage and easy access for maintenance. Never place the Filter Pump where water can accumulate.

Diagram Description (1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2): Illustrates connecting the filter pump hoses to the pool's inlet and outlet ports. One hose connects to the pool's outlet (water returning from the pump), and the other connects to the pool's inlet (water being drawn into the pump). The diagram shows specific connection points and adapters.
Maintenance
- Ensure the Filter Pump is unplugged before any maintenance.
- For maintenance instructions, refer to illustration steps in the manual.
- To optimize performance and for sanitary reasons, it is suggested to replace the filter cartridge every two weeks.
Filter Cartridge Replacement and Priming
Diagram Description (1.3, 1.4, 2.3, 2.4): These diagrams show the process of replacing the filter cartridge and priming the pump. The steps typically involve:
- Unscrewing the filter housing cap.
- Removing the old filter cartridge.
- Inserting a new filter cartridge.
- Re-screwing the filter housing cap securely.
- Waiting approximately 1 minute for the pump to prime before operation.
The diagrams also show the parts involved, including the filter housing, cap, and cartridge.
