⚠️ WARNING:
- The power supply unit must be supplied by an isolating transformer or a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA.
- Consult a qualified electrician for any questions.
- The power source on the wall of the building should be more than 4m away from the pool and at a height of at least 1.2m.
- Extension cords cannot be used.
- The power supply unit shall be at least 3.50m away from the pool.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning safe use and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- When the appliance is not used for a long time (e.g., winter), the pool set should be disassembled and stored indoors.
- Electric installations should follow national wiring rules.
- Only use media provided or specified by the manufacturer.
- Ensure suction openings are not obstructed.
- Stop filtration during maintenance operations.
- Regularly monitor the filter clogging level. A weekly check is recommended.
- Minimum daily filtration operating time of 8 hours is recommended for clear pool water.
- Change any damaged element or set of elements as soon as possible. Use only approved parts.
- Inspect all filters and filter media regularly to ensure no detritus build-up. Disposal of used filter media must comply with applicable regulations.

Setup and Installation
Attaching a Base
The filter pump must be vertically fixed on the ground or a base made of wood or concrete. The base should have two 7mm diameter holes spaced 242mm apart. Attach the pump to the base using bolts and nuts. All base parts should weigh at least 18kg to prevent accidental falling.
Diagram shows base dimensions (460x280mm) and mounting hardware (2x M6 bolt, 2x M6 nut).
Checklist
To check parts, consult the part list in this manual. Verify equipment components match your purchased model. For damaged or missing parts at purchase, visit www.bestwaycorp.com/support.
Choose the Correct Location
Place the Filter Pump on solid, level ground at the same level as the pool base. Positioning the pump higher or lower than the pool base can compromise performance and lifespan. The pool and pump must be in an area with adequate drainage and easy access for maintenance. Never place the Filter Pump where water may accumulate.
Installation
Refer to illustration steps in the manual for installation instructions. Drawings are for illustration purposes only and may not reflect the actual product. Bestway is not responsible for damage caused by mishandling or failure to follow instructions.
Ensure hydraulic connectors are not obstructed. Do not dry run the Filter Pump. Make sure both the pool's inlet and outlet valves are fully covered by water before operating.

Installation Process (General Description]
The installation involves connecting hoses to the pool and the filter pump, ensuring connections are secure and free from obstructions. Specific steps are illustrated in the manual.
Example steps shown include:
- Connecting hoses to pool inlets/outlets (Diagrams 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2).
- Priming the pump by ensuring water covers the inlet/outlet and purging air (Diagrams 1.3, 1.4, 2.3, 2.4). This involves filling the pump with water, attaching hoses, and ensuring water flow.
Using the Filter Pump
Controls
On/Off Button / Wi-Fi Toggle (⑤): Starts/stops the pump; activates Wi-Fi function. Refer to Wi-Fi operation instructions for more details.
Time Setting Button (☑): During setup, the display flashes. Each press decreases the timer by 1 hour. Stop pressing for 5 seconds when the desired time is reached; the display light will stop flashing, completing the setup.
Wi-Fi Indicator Light
This LED indicates the Wi-Fi connection status. See the Wi-Fi Indicator Light Definitions section for details.
- After setting the run time, the pump restarts automatically at the same time the next day.
- In case of power outage or loose power cord, the running time resets to a 10-hour default.
Wi-Fi Indicator Light Definitions
Indicator Display | Definition |
---|---|

Filter Cartridge Status Indicator / Low Flow Rate
Indicator on: The filter element is dirty, or the system has detected a low flow rate. Follow troubleshooting instructions to reset the element.
Maintenance
Ensure the filter pump is unplugged before any maintenance. For maintenance instructions, refer to illustration steps in the manual. To optimize performance and for hygiene, replace the filter cartridge with a new one every two weeks.
Storage
Remove all accessories. Ensure the filter pump, hoses, and debris screens are completely clean and dry before storage. If not dry, mold may result. Remove and dispose of the filter cartridge before storage. It is recommended to disassemble the Filter Pump when the ambient temperature is below 10°C / 50°F. Store the Filter Pump in a dry place with a moderate temperature between 10°C / 50°F and 38°C / 100°F.
Troubleshooting
If the detection shows "Er" or the app prompts "Filter pump detects no water flow", unplug the plug and resolve the problem according to the following solutions.
Code/Problem | Reasons | Solutions |
---|---|---|
Device displays "Er" or app prompts "Filter pump detects no water flow" | The system detects no water flow. The pump is on, but the motor isn't running. | Ensure pool inlet/outlet are fully covered by water. Ensure inlet/outlet valves are open. Purge air from the circulation system. Visit www.bestwaycorp.com for assistance. |
Filter indicator lights up or app prompts "Filter cartridge is dirty / Low flow rate" | Control valve is closed or not completely open. Debris is blocking hoses/debris screen. The filter cartridge is dirty. | Check and open the control valve. Remove blockage and reset the alarm. Remove the filter cartridge and rinse it. Replace the filter element with a new one if the error remains. Visit www.bestwaycorp.com for assistance. |
App prompts "Filter pump is off and cannot be controlled" | This alarm appears if the timer interface is open and the filter pump is switched off at the same time. | Click "x" to close. Visit www.bestwaycorp.com for assistance. |
Wi-Fi setup is not successful | Pump connected to the wrong band (5GHz instead of 2.4GHz). Filter pump location too far from router. Incorrect network name or password. Unstable Wi-Fi signal. Interference from other devices. Phone in airplane mode during registration. | Connect to 2.4GHz band. Move pump closer to router. Verify network name and password. Check router function and signal strength; move pump to area with stronger signal. Keep pump away from interfering devices. Deactivate airplane mode. Consult app help for more tips. |
