Thanks for choosing the NUX LOOP CORE STEREO pedal! The NUX LOOP CORE STEREO features a high-definition color LCD display, stereo inputs/outputs, and a MIDI control input. It allows you to create music phrases and play back as stereo loops! Whether you practice, compose, or play live gigs, you will get inspired by this well-designed loop pedal!
Panel & Connection
This section details the physical connections and panel layout of the NUX LOOP CORE STEREO.
Connections:
- Connect a DC 9V adaptor to the power jack.
- Connect your Guitar to the INPUT jacks (IN A/IN B).
- Connect Amplifiers to the OUTPUT jacks (OUT A/OUT B).
- An External MIDI device can be connected to the MIDI OUT/IN port.
- A Computer can be connected via the USB port.
Panel Layout:
- 1 Power jack
- Connects to DC 9V adaptor.
- 2 TFT LCD
- High-definition color display.
- 3 VALUE / VOL knob
- Selects memory or adjusts parameters.
- 4 DRUM STYLE button
- Turns drum function ON/OFF or selects drum style.
- 5 TAP / TEMPO button
- Taps to set tempo or holds to adjust tempo.
- 6 SAVE / DEL button
- Saves current phrases to memory or deletes existing memory.
- 7 SETTING button
- Enters system settings.
- 8 OUTPUT jacks
- Stereo outputs (OUT A/OUT B).
- 9 INPUT jacks
- Stereo inputs (IN A/IN B).
- 10 MIDI OUT / IN
- For external MIDI device control.
- 11 USB port
- For computer connection.
- 12 Footswitch
- Controls recording, playback, dubbing, undo, redo, stop, and clear functions.
How to Use the Loop Core Stereo Pedal
Power on the Loop Core Stereo pedal. Rotate the VALUE knob to select an empty memory from 01 to 99. Then, press the footswitch to record/play/dub your phrases. You can also hold the footswitch to UNDO/REDO/CLEAR your phrases.
Footswitch Operations:
- Press once: REC (Record) / PLAY (Play) / OVERDUB (Overdub)
- Hold: PLAY (Play) / UNDO (Undo) / REDO (Redo)
- Press twice: STOP (Stop)
- Press & Hold: CLEAR (Clear)
Buttons and Functions
- DRUM STYLE button ?
- Press to turn ON/OFF the drum. Hold to select drum style.
- TAP / TEMPO button ⏰
- Press to TAP. Hold to adjust the tempo.
- SAVE / DEL button ?
- Press to save the current phrases to a memory. Hold to delete an exist memory.
- SETTING button ⚙️
- Press to enter the system setting.
VALUE/VOL Knob
1. To select the current memory from 01~99 or adjust parameters.
Screen Examples:
- Memory Selection: Display shows memory numbers (e.g., '01', '01-99').
- Drum Style Selection: Shows options like 'STYLE ➔ 01 Sherriff', '4/4', '02 Santeria', '03 Reggae', 'BEAT 3/4', 'Shuffle'.
- Save Data: Screen prompts 'SAVE DATA TO MEMORY 01', 'PRESS [SAVE] TO CONFIRM'.
- Delete Data: Screen prompts 'ARE YOU SURE TO DELETE THE MEMORY 01?', 'PRESS [SAVE] TO CONFIRM'.
- Setting: Displays system setting options.
2. When working on phrases or practicing, press the VALUE/VOL knob once/twice to adjust the volume of Loop/Drum.
Volume Adjustment Display:
- Display shows 'LOOP LEVEL' and 'DRUM LEVEL' with numerical indicators (e.g., '99').
Customize Your Own Boot-up Picture
The Loop Core Stereo allows users to customize their own boot-up picture with a GIF.
- Connect the Loop Core Stereo to your computer.
- Download a GIF picture to the folder: NUX LOOPER > NUX_LOOP > GIF.
- Disconnect and reboot the Loop Core Stereo.
- Enter the DISPLAY setting and set the BOOT-UP PICTURE option to USER.
- Reboot the Loop Core Stereo again to enjoy your customized GIF interface.
Display Settings:
Access the SETTING menu, then navigate to DISPLAY. Options include BRIGHTNESS and BOOT-UP PICTURE (DEFAULT/USER).
