About the Device

The device is a DIN-rail mounted 3-channel smart switch with potential-free contacts. It controls the on/off function of three independent electrical devices with a load of up to 16 A per channel (48 A total). It is compatible with switches (by default) and buttons. It also supports load control on single-phase or three-phase systems.

WARNING! Risk of electric shock. Installation of the Device to the power supply must be carried out with caution by a qualified electrician.

WARNING! Risk of electric shock. Any changes to the connections must be made after ensuring that there is no voltage at the device terminals.

WARNING! Use the device only with electrical networks and appliances that comply with all applicable regulations. A short circuit in the electrical network or any appliance connected to the Device may damage it.

WARNING! Do not connect the device to appliances exceeding the specified maximum load!

WARNING! Leave at least 10 mm space around each Pro device if you expect currents higher than 5 A per channel.

WARNING! Connect the device only as shown in these instructions. Any other method may cause damage and/or injury.

WARNING! Do not install the Device in places where it can get wet.

WARNING! Do not use the device if it is damaged!

WARNING! Do not attempt to service or repair the Device yourself!

WARNING! Before starting the installation of the Device, check that the circuit breakers are switched off and there is no voltage at their terminals. This can be done with a mains voltage tester or a multimeter. Once you are sure there is no voltage, you can proceed with connecting the wires.

WARNING! Do not let children play with the switches/buttons connected to the Device. Keep Shelly Wave remote control devices (mobile phones, tablets, computers) away from children.

WARNING! Do not shorten the antenna.

RECOMMENDATION: Position the antenna as far as possible from metal objects, as they can cause signal interference.

RECOMMENDATION: Connect the device using solid single-wire cables with increased heat resistance of the insulation, not lower than PVC T105°C (221°F).

RECOMMENDATION: For inductive loads that cause voltage spikes during switching on/off, such as electric motors, fans, vacuum cleaners, and similar, an RC suppressor (0.1 μF / 100 Ω / 1/2 W / 600 V AC) should be connected in parallel to the load.
