Short Description of the Product

The BASIC series is a dedicated line of power supplies for the configuration of standard desktop computers whose current requirements are adequate to the parameters given on the nameplate. The product is adapted to supply voltage in the range of 230 V. The power consumption of powering components can not exceed the power supply nominal current. The product is compatible with the applicable national and European requirements.

Important Information and Certifications

The CE mark indicates the manufacturer's declaration that the product meets the requirements of the European Union's "New Approach" directives. For security and certification reasons, the device must not be rebuilt or changed in any way. Using the power supply for purposes other than described may damage the product. Incorrect use can also cause hazards such as short-circuits, burns, or electric shocks. Read the user manual carefully and keep it for future reference. The product should only be shared with a third party if the user manual is included.

Safety Precautions

  • Assembly should be carried out by persons with appropriate technical knowledge of PC construction.
  • Connecting components that demand more power than the power supply can provide can cause failure or damage (burn) to the power supply.
  • Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can occur when objects touch. Discharging static electricity from fingers or other conductors can damage electronic components. To avoid damaging the computer, avoid touching electrical outlets, wires, and electronic circuits. Minimize contact with electronic components.
  • The manufacturer is not responsible for damage or injury caused by disobeying safety instructions and information in this manual.
  • Keep the product and packaging out of reach of children and animals. The packaging may contain foil that could cause choking.
  • Do not apply mechanical load to the product – strong shocks, impacts, dropping, or crushing may cause damage.
  • Operation in adverse conditions is not allowed. Adverse conditions include exposure to direct sunlight, high or very low ambient temperatures, strong vibrations, high humidity, and environments with gases, dusts, or flammable/aggressive liquids.
  • If the product is damaged, not working properly, or has been stored in bad/unfavorable conditions, safe operation is not possible. Stop using the product and protect it against re-use.
  • Never touch the product or power cord with moist or wet hands.
  • Short-circuiting the current connection is prohibited.
  • Ensure the power cord is not crushed, bent, twisted, rubbed against sharp edges, or mechanically loaded. Avoid thermal load on the cable; keep it away from heat sources.
  • Lay power cords to eliminate the risk of stumbling or hooking.
  • Modifying the power cord is forbidden. Modifications can damage the cable, posing threats to life, health, and property.
  • Before connecting to a mains socket, ensure the voltage specified on the power supply matches the household socket voltage.
  • Disconnect the mains plug if the product is not in use for a long time.
  • When disconnecting the power cord, do not pull on the cord itself, but on the plug.
  • For any doubts regarding operation, safety, or connection, contact the manufacturer or a qualified specialist.
  • All maintenance, adjustment, and repair work must be carried out by qualified personnel in a specialist facility.

Power Supply Installation Guide

In case of replacement of an old unit:

  • Disconnect all power plugs from the computer.
  • Remove the computer housing.
  • Disconnect all power connectors of the old PSU.
  • Unscrew the 4 screws holding the old PSU on the back of the computer.

Installation of new Power Supply:

  • Screw the new power supply to the case using 4 screws.
  • Connect power connectors of the new PSU to suitable devices inside the computer.
  • Power connectors are designed for assembly in a specific way. If a plug and connector do not fit, try reversing them.
  • Ensure there are no loose screws left inside the computer.
  • Put on and tighten the computer case.
  • Connect the power cord plug to an electrical outlet.

Cleaning the Power Supply

⚠️ Disconnect the power supply from the electrical socket and connected devices before cleaning.

  • Use compressed air for cleaning the power supply.
  • Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaners.
