Operating Instructions
Use Scenarios
Plugin Operation
Remove the control module, open the bottom silicone plug, and insert the power cable into the power input on the bottom of the control module. Reinsert the control module vertically into the base. Press the button on the top of the main unit to switch between water dispensing modes.
Battery Operation
Take out the control module and plug the power cable into the connector to charge the battery. Water supply is not possible by default when using battery power. Battery life depends on the pump frequency; frequent pumping shortens battery life.
Indicator Light Description
- Fully charged: Solid blue light. Unplug the power cable once fully charged.
- Charging: Blinking blue or green light.
- Battery weak: Light blinks.
- Normal operation (continuous water dispensing): Green light stays on for 15 seconds and then turns off.
- Intermittent mode (intermittent water dispensing): Light flashes intermittently depending on the water dispensing mode.
- Water shortage: The water shortage indicator light flashes. This occurs when the water tank contains too little water.
- Failure: Indicator light flashes continuously blue and green. The control module needs to be replaced. After replacement, perform the reset procedure in the app. After reset, the indicator light will turn off.
- Filter indicator: When the control module is removed, the filter indicator lights up. When the module is reinstalled, the indicator light turns off.
App Smart Control
Download and install the "PETKIT" app from the App Store or Android App stores. Go to the "Home" page of the app, click "+", add the corresponding device, and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the device. The app allows you to set different water dispensing modes and monitor your pet's drinking status. The app also displays filter status and low water alerts.
Cleaning and Maintenance
The frequency of cleaning depends on your pet's behavior and water quality. To ensure healthy drinking water for your pet, it is recommended to clean the water tank and pump weekly. (Refer to Section 6.2 for a video on cleaning and maintenance).
Steps:
- Remove the control module and wireless components.
- Clean the water tank, stainless steel drinking bowl, and pump. Wipe them with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse these components in water.
- Clean the filter holder and filter mesh.
Caution: The wireless base and control module cannot be soaked in water.
