Wolf Wall Oven Installation Information

This document provides essential installation details for Wolf Wall Ovens, intended for service technicians and installers.

Electrical Requirements

Ensure proper electrical supply for your Wolf Wall Oven. Single ovens require a 208/220-240 volts AC, 60 Hertz, 30 Ampere fused electrical supply. Double ovens require a 208/220-240 volts AC, 60 Hertz, 50 Ampere fused electrical supply.

Minimum Wire Size:

  • L1, L2 and Ground: 10 AWG
  • Neutral: 12 AWG

Proper grounding is mandatory. The appliance is equipped with a 60” conduit. Always use a separate ground wire and never ground the appliance with the neutral house supply wire. If using aluminum house wiring, use special connectors designed for joining copper and aluminum, following the manufacturer's recommended procedure carefully to prevent fire hazards.

Oven Installation

Use the upper edge of the cavity opening and the bottom of the oven chassis side as gripping points to lift the oven into the cabinet cutout. Slide the oven into the recessed area until it is approximately six inches from being fully installed to allow for trim kit installation. The oven doors may be removed to reduce weight during lifting. Caution: Do not lift or carry the oven doors by the door handle.

Trim Installation

Attach the left and right side trim to the bottom and middle trim before installing on the oven. For double ovens, the middle trim is used. Peel off the adhesive backing on the flat washers and attach them centered over the holes of the raised sides of the oven cavity frame. Install the trim using the provided screws. Drill pilot holes for the cabinet mounting screws and install them through the oven side trim into the cabinet. Warning: Failure to install mounting screws may result in movement or tipping of the oven during use. Caution: Do not block the oven air exhaust located at the bottom of the oven, as this may result in cabinet damage and poor baking performance.
