Read the following safety precautions before using the monitor.

  • Only use accessories supplied with the monitor or recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Store the plastic packaging bag of the product in a place inaccessible to children.
  • Before connecting the monitor to a power outlet, ensure the power cable voltage matches the power specifications in your country.
  • The power cable plug must be connected to a properly grounded outlet.
  • Do not touch the plug with wet hands, as this can easily cause electric shock.
  • Place the monitor in a stable and well-ventilated location.
  • Do not place the monitor near heat sources such as electric radiators or direct sunlight.
  • The holes or openings on the monitor are for ventilation. Do not cover or block the ventilation holes with any object.
  • Do not use the monitor near water, beverages, or any type of liquid. Failure to do so may result in electric shock or damage to the monitor.
  • Be sure to unplug the monitor from the power outlet before cleaning.
  • Because the screen surface is easily scratched, avoid touching the surface with hard or sharp objects.
  • Use a lint-free cloth instead of tissue to wipe the screen. You can use glass cleaner if necessary. However, never spray cleaner directly onto the screen.

Stability Hazard Precautions

The product may fall, causing serious injury or death. To prevent injury, this product must be securely installed to the floor/wall according to the installation instructions. Many injuries, especially to children, can be avoided by taking simple precautions such as:

  • ALWAYS use the stand or mounting method recommended by the product manufacturer.
  • ALWAYS use furniture that can safely support the product.
  • ALWAYS ensure the product does not overhang the supporting furniture's edge.
  • ALWAYS educate children about the dangers of climbing furniture to reach products or controls.
  • ALWAYS route cables and cords connected to the product so they cannot be tripped over, pulled, or caught.
  • NEVER place the product in an unstable location.
  • NEVER place the product on high furniture (e.g., a cabinet or bookshelf) without anchoring both the furniture and the product to a suitable support.
  • NEVER place the product on fabric or other materials that may lie between the product and supporting furniture.
  • NEVER place objects that might tempt children to climb, such as toys and remote controls, on top of the product or furniture where the product is placed.
  • If existing products are to be retained and moved, consider the same precautions as above.
  • To prevent personal injury or product damage caused by tipping due to earthquakes or other shocks, ensure the product is installed in a stable location and take measures to prevent it from falling.

User Comfort Recommendations

This monitor adopts Flicker-Free technology, which cleans up monitor flicker visible to the eye and prevents user eye fatigue and strain.

Here are some tips for your viewing comfort:

  • Allow a minimum distance of 50 to 75cm (20″ to 30″) between your eyes and the monitor.
  • A general guideline is to position the monitor so that the top of the screen is at or slightly below your eye level when sitting comfortably.
  • Use adequate lighting for the type of work you are doing.
  • Take regular and frequent breaks (at least 10 minutes) every half hour.
  • Periodically shift your gaze away from the monitor screen and focus on a distant object for at least 20 seconds during breaks.
  • Eye exercises can help reduce eye strain. Repeat these exercises as often as possible: (1) look up and down (2) slowly rotate your eyes (3) move your eyes diagonally.

This model has passed the Flicker-Free and Low Blue Light verification from TÜV Rheinland. To learn more:
