Audison B-CON Bluetooth Hi-Res Receiver
User's Manual
Product Overview
The Audison B-CON is a Bluetooth 5.0 player designed for automotive use, certified for "Hi-Res audio wireless" by the Japan Audio Society (JAS). It is ideal for streaming audio from Hi-Res players (e.g., FiiO, Sony Walkman) and modern Android/Apple mobile devices.
The B-CON supports all audio formats and achieves peak performance with uncompressed BT streaming (up to 96kHz/24bit with Android LDAC devices). It is compatible with local files and Hi-Res streaming apps like Tidal and Qobuz.
Audison has focused on volume management for optimal audio quality. The "Absolute Volume" function manages the Master Volume of the DSP*, preventing resolution loss that occurs when adjusting the mobile device's volume, thus ensuring full dynamic range.
In case of a voice call, the DSP automatically switches to the processor's Master input, associating the mobile device with the B-CON and the car. After the call, it resumes the paused song and manages the car's speakerphone without limitations.
The B-CON features a digital optical input ("pass-through", max 192kHz/24bit) that serves as a secondary auxiliary input to the active DSP when BT streaming is not active.
Digital (max 96kHz/24bit) and analog (max 2 VRMS, S/N RATIO 100 dBA) outputs allow connection to any audio device.
*Available on the new Forza line or on the bit One HD Virtuoso by connecting the ADC port.
