Keyboard Layout and Features

The MCHOSE G87 features a standard keyboard layout with several key functional areas:

• Type-C Port: Located on the keyboard for wired connection and charging.
• USB Dongle: A small USB receiver for 2.4G wireless connection.
• CAPS Lock Indicator: A light that indicates when Caps Lock is active.
• Multimedia Knob: Positioned on the top right. Turn right for volume increase (+), turn left for volume decrease (-), and press to mute/unmute audio.

Mode Switch: A physical switch on the keyboard allows selection between three modes:

• 2.4G Mode: Top position, indicated by [2.4G].
• Wireless Mode: Middle position, indicated by [B].
• USB Wired Mode: Bottom position, indicated by [OFF].

Connecting Your MCHOSE G87

2.4G Connection

1. Switch the mode selector to the [2.4G] position.
2. Remove the USB dongle from its storage slot (often found on the keyboard itself or its packaging). The image shows a dongle being extracted from a cover.
3. Insert the USB dongle into a USB port on your computer. The keyboard should connect automatically.

Wireless Connection (Bluetooth)

1. Switch the mode selector to the [B] position.
2. To pair with a device, press and hold the Fn key plus the corresponding number key for the desired wireless channel:
   • Fn + 1 (or !) for Wireless 1.
   • Fn + 2 (or @) for Wireless 2.
   • Fn + 3 (or #) for Wireless 3.
   Hold until the indicator light flashes rapidly to enter pairing mode.
3. On your computer or device, search for the pairing name "MCHOSE G87 3.0" or "MCHOSE G87 5.0" and select it to connect. The indicator light will return to normal once connected.

Wired Connection

1. Switch the mode selector to the [OFF] position.
2. Connect the Type-C end of the provided USB cable to the keyboard's Type-C port.
3. Connect the USB-A end of the cable to a USB port on your computer. The keyboard will be ready to use.

Lighting Adjustment

You can customize the keyboard's lighting effects using the Fn key in combination with other keys:

• Fn + Insert: Switch Lighting Modes.
• Fn + Delete: Switch Lighting Colors.
• Fn + ↑: Increase Lighting Brightness.
• Fn + ↓: Decrease Lighting Brightness.
• Fn + ←: Decrease Lighting Speed.
• Fn + →: Increase Lighting Speed.

Additional Features

• System Mode Switch: Use Fn + W for Windows System, and Fn + E for Mac System.
• Battery Level Check: In 2.4G or Wireless Mode, press and hold the B key for approximately 5 seconds to check the battery level.
• Restore Default Settings: Press and hold the Esc key for approximately 5 seconds to restore the keyboard to its default settings.
• Charging Indicator: While charging, the Esc key will display a red light. Once fully charged, the Esc key will revert to its normal lighting effect.
