3. How to Wear
3.1 Wearing Styles

3.2 Adjusting the Headset
Headband
Adjust the headband length so the headset fits comfortably on your head.

Boom arm
It is important to position the microphone close to your mouth. The boom arm can be bent to improve positioning.

3.3 Folding Earcups
The earcups can be folded for easier storage.
4. Charging
The headset can be charged using the optional charging cradle or directly with the connected cable.
The battery fully charges in approximately two hours. Battery life when fully charged is up to 18 hours. If the headset battery is empty, a 30-minute charge provides up to 9 hours of use.
4.1 Charging with Cable
Connect the USB charging cable to the USB-C charging port on the right earcup, and then to your computer's USB port.
It is recommended to charge the headset with the supplied Jabra charging cable, although it is possible to charge with any compatible charger.

4.2 Charging with Charging Cradle (Optional Accessory)
Connect the charging cradle to your computer's USB port using the supplied charging cable, and then place the headset in the charging cradle. Alternatively, the charging cradle can be connected to any USB power source.

Powered USB connection
The headset's battery indicator light will flash white briefly to indicate it has been placed correctly in the charging cradle. After this, the battery indicator light will flash green, yellow, or red, indicating the current battery status. When the indicator light turns solid green, the headset battery is fully charged.
4.3 Power Saving Mode
When the headset is powered on but not used for listening to music or taking calls, it will automatically enter power-saving mode after 4 hours to conserve battery. You can exit power-saving mode by pressing any button.

You can adjust the time before the headset enters power-saving mode using the Jabra Sound+ app on your smartphone or the Jabra Direct app on your computer.
If the headset has not been used for 24 hours, it will turn off completely. To turn on the headset, press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds.

6. Connecting
6.1 Connect to a Computer
Plug the Jabra Link 380/390 into a USB port on your computer. The Jabra Evolve2 55 and Jabra Link 380/390 are pre-paired and ready to use. The optimal Bluetooth range is up to 30 meters (100 feet).

To hear music from the headset, you may need to select the Jabra Link 380/390 as the playback device in your operating system's audio settings.
Use Jabra Direct to manually pair the Jabra Evolve2 55 and Jabra Link 380/390.
It is recommended to update the headset's firmware before first use using the Jabra Direct or Jabra Sound+ app.
SAFETY NOTE: Data transfer between the headset and USB devices or ports is not encrypted.
6.2 Pair with a Bluetooth Device
- Press and hold the Power button for 4 seconds, until the LED indicator starts flashing blue.
- Follow the audio prompts and pair the headset with your Bluetooth device.
To complete pairing, you may need to confirm a passcode displayed on your phone and announced via the headset. If both passcodes match, confirm on your phone and press the headset's Call button.
It is recommended to update the headset's firmware before first use using the Jabra Direct or Jabra Sound+ app.
SAFETY NOTE: The headset uses a secure Bluetooth connection, encrypted with a 128-bit encryption key. If your Bluetooth device does not support secure connections, it may not be able to pair or connect to the headset.
7. Usage
7.1 Power On/Off
Turn the headset on or off by pressing and holding the Power button for 2 seconds.

7.3 Occupied Light(s)
When you are on a call, the Occupied light will automatically turn red to indicate you are busy. If you want to manually turn the Occupied lights on or off, press the Volume up (Volume increase) and Volume down (Volume decrease) buttons simultaneously.

7.4 Mute/Unmute Microphone with Boom Arm
The headset microphone can be muted by raising the boom arm, and unmuted by lowering the boom arm.
This function is enabled by default and can be disabled using the Jabra Sound+ app on your smartphone or the Jabra Direct app on your computer.

7.5 Answering Calls with Microphone Boom Arm
An incoming call can be answered by turning the microphone boom arm down, close to your mouth.
This function is enabled by default and can be disabled using the Jabra Sound+ app on your smartphone or the Jabra Direct app on your computer.

7.6 Voice Assistant
Activate your phone's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant, or Amazon Alexa) by pressing and holding the headset's ANC button for 1 second when not on a call.
7.7 Multiuse | Multiconnect
The headset can be paired with up to eight Bluetooth devices, and can connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously (e.g., a Jabra Link 380/390 and a phone, or two phones). The headset can receive multiple calls from either device.
If you want to connect two phones, perform a standard pairing for each phone separately (see section 6.2). The voice assistant is activated on the last connected phone.
7.8 Managing Multiple Calls
The headset can answer and handle multiple calls simultaneously.

7.9 Voice Guidance
Voice guidance provides notifications that guide you through settings and give you status updates about the headset (e.g., connection and battery status).
Voice guidance is enabled by default.

Alternatively, use the Jabra Direct app on your computer or the Jabra Sound+ app on your smartphone to enable or disable voice guidance.
You can find the latest list of supported languages in the Jabra Sound+ app on your smartphone or the Jabra Direct app on your computer.
7.10 Sidetone
Sidetone allows you to hear your own voice better while on a call.
You can configure sidetone settings using the Jabra Sound+ app on your smartphone or the Jabra Direct app on your computer.
7.11 Factory Reset
Resetting the headset clears the pairing list and all settings.

Ensure the headset is turned on and not on a call. Press and hold the Call button and the Volume up (Volume increase) button simultaneously for 3 seconds, until the LED indicator turns pink and you hear a notification.
The headset will need to be re-paired with the Jabra Link 380/390.
8. Software and Firmware
8.1 Jabra Sound+
Jabra Sound+ is a mobile app that allows you to update your headset with the latest firmware, add new features, and customize it to your needs.

Jabra Direct is an application designed to support, update, and manage Jabra devices to ensure their optimal performance.

8.3 Firmware Updates
It is recommended to update your headset's firmware before first use using the Jabra Direct or Jabra Sound+ app.
Firmware updates improve the functionality of Jabra devices or add new features. Jabra Sound+ or Jabra Direct will notify you when firmware is being updated or when a firmware update is available.

9.2 Headset Care
- Always store your headset in the supplied case.
- To prevent battery life or capacity degradation, avoid storing the headset in hot or cold environments, such as a closed car in summer or in winter conditions.
- Always store the headset between -10°C and 50°C (14°F and 122°F).
- Do not store the headset for extended periods without charging (max. three months).
9.3 Cleaning the Jabra Device
Keep your product clean by following these best hygiene practices.
- Dampen a cloth with regular dish soap and water, and ensure you wring out excess liquid so the cloth is not dripping. Use only soap and water – do not use harsh cleaning agents.
- Gently wipe the product, ensuring no soap residue remains on the surface.
- Allow the product to rest for at least one minute.
- Clean the product by wiping it with a cloth slightly dampened with water.
- Allow to dry.
- When the product is not in use, keep it clean by avoiding contact with dirty surfaces and storing it in its storage pouch.
