After the router is powered on, data transmission may start automatically. In some cases, this may not happen if the SIM card used in the device has a security PIN code enabled. Enter your SIM card's PIN code into the corresponding field on the device's screen to unlock the card. To avoid entering the PIN code every time the device is turned on, it is recommended to disable the PIN code prompt in the router's web interface settings under "Security" or by inserting the SIM card into any phone and disabling the PIN code prompt in its security settings. The PIN code is usually provided in your starter pack documentation. For additional information, contact your mobile operator.

Internet Connection

The Huawei E5577 router is configured by default to start data transmission (Internet connection) automatically after powering on. If you do not want the Internet connection to be established automatically, change the settings in the router's web interface under the "Dial Up Connection" section. The default setting is "Automatic". To change the parameters, switch the setting from "Automatic" to "Manual". In this case, the Internet connection will only occur upon user command. You will need to access the web interface settings each time and press the "Connect" button on the main page. To stop data transmission, press the "Disconnect" button.

Note: You can use the router's on-screen menu or the web settings page to allow or deny data transmission while roaming. If this option is disabled, data transmission will stop whenever the router enters a roaming zone (e.g., during international travel).
