Getting Started with TRÅDFRI Gateway or DIRIGERA Hub

To begin, download the IKEA Home smart app from the App Store or Google Play. The app will guide you through the process of installing your product and other devices.

Controlling Your Lighting

Once the product is connected to the mains, it can be turned ON/OFF using the main switch or foot switch. For dimming or connecting to other IKEA Home smart products, a separate steering device (e.g., a remote control) is required.

The steering device needs to be paired with your wireless product. If you have multiple wireless products, you can pair each one with the steering device to control the entire combination simultaneously.

Pairing a Steering Device to Your Product

1. Ensure at least one (1) product is connected to the mains power before starting the pairing process.
2. Locate the pairing symbol on the LED driver. Hold the steering device close to the pairing symbol (within 5 cm).
3. Press and hold the pairing button on the steering device for at least 10 seconds. A red LED light will illuminate on the steering device. The product will dim and flash once to indicate successful pairing.

Factory Resetting Your Driver

If the product is unresponsive or you wish to unpair it from a steering device, a factory reset may be necessary. To force a factory reset, carefully push and hold the small button (marked RESET) on the LED driver enclosure with a pen tip, applying slight pressure.

• The product is for indoor use only and operates within a temperature range of 5°C to 45°C.
• Avoid exposing the product to direct sunlight or heat sources to prevent overheating.
• The declared radio range between the unit and the steering device is measured in open air.
• Building materials and unit placement can affect wireless connectivity range.
