LIMITED LIFETIME MECHANICAL AND 1 YEAR ELECTRONIC WARRANTY
The retailer warrants that this product will be repaired or replaced, at its option, if it proves to be defective due to improper workmanship or materials within the original purchaser's limited time. To obtain service under this warranty, bring the product to the store where it was purchased.
This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser at retail. Except as prohibited by law, no other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, apply. Retailer is not liable for consequential or incidental damages. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranty duration or exclusion of incidental/consequential damages.

CAUTION: Use four alkaline batteries for best performance.
- Do not attempt to disassemble internal components; this will void the warranty.
- Do not drop or hit the lockset; excessive shock may cause permanent damage.
- Do not use pins or sharp objects to press the keypad.
- Always create a backup of important information (programming code, user codes, etc.). Refer to the last page for a reference.
- Promptly change the Master Code before operating the lockset.
CARE and MAINTENANCE:
- Remove locks or do not install locks prior to painting your door.
- Periodically clean with mild soap and a soft cloth only.
- Do not use abrasives or chemical products containing alcohol, benzene, or acids. Avoid sharp or abrasive objects for cleaning.
- Do not allow water or liquids into the lockset during installation.

Pre-installation: Door Preparation
If your door is pre-drilled, check the hole sizes to ensure they are correct. If correct, skip to the INSTALLATION section.
- Cut out the TEMPLATE (reverse page) and use it to mark the door, drill holes, and chisel out the mortise. NOTE: Drill from both sides of the door to prevent wood splitting.
- Door Dimensions:
- Backset: 2-3/8" (60 mm) or 2-3/4" (70 mm)
- Door Bore Hole: 2-1/8" (54 mm) or 1-1/2" (38 mm) diameter
- Latch Hole Depth: For 2-3/8" backset: 3-7/16"; For 2-3/4" backset: 3-13/16"
- Prepare the door jamb: Use the strike plate (H) as a template to drill latch and screw holes, and chisel out a mortise. The strike plate must fit flush with the door jamb surface. Strike plate dimensions: 5/32" (4 mm) deep; 2-1/4" (57 mm) length; 1" (25 mm) width.
Installation
1. Installing the Latch
- Attach the correct faceplate to the latch. Ensure the latch bolt is in the retracted position.
- Set the latch backset length: Your latch is set for a 2-3/8" backset. Adjust to 2-3/4" if needed (skip if your door has a 2-3/8" backset). This involves rotating the collar 180 degrees.
- Install the latch into the door edge. Ensure it is flush.
2. Installing the Lock Assemblies
- Door bore options: Thread the power cable (B) through the door bore hole and under the latch. Do NOT leave the key in the cylinder during installation.
- Install the lock assemblies:
- Slide the power cable (B) through the notch in the mounting plate (D).
- The bulged part of the mounting plate (D) must face towards the door.
- Secure the mounting plate (D) to the door using the appropriate screws (AA, BB, DD).
- Connect the power cable (B) firmly into the connector port on the interior assembly (E). Ensure the cable is arranged as shown in the diagram. The metal connector side should face outward.
- Install the interior assembly (E) onto the mounting plate (D), ensuring the torque blade (C) is inserted correctly.
- Install batteries (4x AA alkaline recommended) into the interior assembly (E) and secure the battery cover (F).
- Enter the default Master Code (12345678) to complete the bolt direction setup. Wait for the Green LED to light up.
Overview of Functions
1. Indicator Lights:
- Red light: Incorrect entry or unit is in programming mode.
- Yellow light: Flashes when batteries are low.
- Green light: Correct entry.
2. [CLEAR] Button:
Press to cancel any typo or exit programming mode.
3. Mechanical Keyway Override:
Lock or unlock the lockset using a valid key.
4. Battery Cover:
Protects batteries from damage.
5. [SET] Button:
Press for 1 second to enter programming mode. Refer to section 2.1 for programming details.
6. Interior Thumbturn:
Lock or unlock the lockset manually.
How to Lock / Unlock the Lockset
To Lock:
- Touch the screen to lock.
- Use a mechanical key to lock.
To Unlock:
- Enter a valid User Code or Master Code on the touchscreen.
- Use a mechanical key to unlock.
The screen is temporarily disabled after 4 consecutive incorrect entries.
Programming
1. How to Program the Lockset by Function Codes (Programming Mode)
Programming Mode will automatically time out after 10 seconds of inactivity. If you make a mistake, press the interior [SET] button to exit and start over.

2. Restore to Factory Settings
This will erase all stored information, including the current Master Code and existing User Codes.
- Remove one battery.
- Press and hold the [SET] button while reinserting the battery. Hold the [SET] button until a long beep is heard, followed by a short beep.
- Enter the default Master Code (12345678). Wait for the Green LED to light up to complete bolt direction setup.
Change the Master Code before operating the lock.
