Reset Instructions

Turn on the power, hold the button for 5 seconds until the socket LED starts to flash. The reset is successful. When the socket is in a new network environment, restore factory settings and reconnect to the network.

Option 1: Search for "Gosund" in the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Option 2: Scan the QR code provided in the document to enter the download page.

After downloading and logging in, ensure the indicator is blinking, then use the app's "Add device" function, scan the QR code, and get into Quick Pairing. Contact support for issues.

Wi-Fi Pairing

Note: Device supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only. Ensure your mobile phone and the device are connected to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi simultaneously.

How to Connect Gosund Devices to Alexa

Prerequisites: Download the Amazon Alexa APP, ensure successful login, and that your Alexa speaker and the device are powered on and connected to Wi-Fi.

Method 1: Bind via Gosund APP

Open the Gosund APP, navigate to "Me" > "Alexa" (requires app version 3.22.5 or above).
Tap "Sign In With Amazon".
Tap "LINK".
Binding is now successful. The device can be controlled by Alexa.

Method 2: Add Skills via Alexa APP

Open the Amazon Alexa APP and select "Skills & Games".
Search for "Gosund".
Find "Gosund", click "Enable", and link your Gosund account.
The device can now be controlled through Alexa.

How to Connect Devices to Google Assistant

Prerequisite: Support for 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only.

Open the Google Assistant APP and log in.
Tap your account name in the upper right corner.
Click "Devices" to add devices.
Find "Link a smart home device" and click it.
Search for "Gosund" and click "Gosund smart".
Enter your Gosund APP account and password, then tap "Link Now".
You can now begin your smart home journey.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Question: The smart plug is showing offline or disconnected from Wi-Fi.

Answer:

Ensure the Wi-Fi connection is stable and the router is not far or overloaded. Restart your router or connect the device to a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot to test.
Remove the device from the App: Click the device name > click the edit icon (top right) > click "Remove Device" (at the bottom) > "Disconnect and wipe data".
Reset the device before connecting it to the App again. Simply press the power button for about 10 seconds until the smart plug indicator flashes rapidly (EZ mode) or slowly (AP mode).

2. Question: Smart plug turns on and off by itself randomly. What should I do to fix this?

Answer:

Check if any schedules for ON/OFF have been set in the App.
Try plugging the device into another socket.
Remove the device from the app (as described in FAQ 1, step 2).
Reset the device before connecting it to the app again (as described in FAQ 1, step 3).
If the issue persists, restart your router or connect the device to a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot.
