Before You Install

Install the Gosund Flip V

Wiring Diagram Description: The switch has terminals for Live, Neutral, Load1, and Load2. The diagram shows connections for these.

Warning: To avoid fire, shock, or death, turn off power at the circuit breaker or fuse and test that power is off before wiring.

Installation Steps:

1. Shut OFF the power at the circuit breaker for the switch you are replacing. You may need to shut OFF more than one circuit breaker/switch to ensure the switch you are working on is powered OFF. IMPORTANT: USE A NON-CONTACT VOLTAGE DETECTOR OR FLIP YOUR LIGHT SWITCH A FEW TIMES TO MAKE SURE THAT THE POWER IS OFF.
2. Unscrew and disconnect the wires from the old switch using a screwdriver.
3. Install the Gosund Flip V Wi-Fi Smart Switch. Insert wire to terminal, then tighten the screw.
4. Mount the device using the provided screws.

How to Pair with the Gosund App?

1. Download the Gosund app from the App Store/Google Play or via the QR code.
2. Open Gosund App, create your account and tap the "+" icon in the top right corner and select "Switch (WiFi)".
3. Follow on-screen instructions to complete the connection.

Easy Mode Configuration:

Ensure the indicator light is flashing fast and confirm in the App. If the green light is not blinking quickly, press any reset button for 5 seconds to reset the device. Choose your 2.4G Wi-Fi and enter the password, then confirm it in the App. Wait for successful configuration and tap "Completed".

AP Mode:

Use AP Mode if the connection fails in "Easy Mode". Go back to the Add Device "+" interface and choose AP Mode from the upper right corner.

1. Long press any reset button until the indicator light flashes slowly.
2. Choose your 2.4G Wi-Fi and enter the password, then confirm it in the App.
3. Tap "connect now" and choose the Wi-Fi hotspot named "SmartLife-xxxx", then go back to the Gosund App.
4. Wait for successful configuration and tap "Completed".

Note: If the connection fails in "AP Mode", check if your router is dual-band Wi-Fi. If it is, enter the router management interface to split 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi, then connect to 2.4G Wi-Fi.

Create Scenes / Groups

The Gosund App allows you to create custom scenes and groups to control different smart devices in various rooms simultaneously.

Device Sharing

To grant others permission to control your smart switch, use the device sharing function in the Gosund App: Choose the device to share -> Choose Edit Button -> Choose shared devices -> Add sharing -> Enter recipient's Gosund account -> Search and complete.

How to connect with Amazon Alexa

Requirements:

• Amazon Alexa device and Alexa App.
• The smart switch connected with Gosund App.
• Gosund App user ID and password.

Add Gosund as a "Skill" for Alexa:

Open the Alexa app, go to Skills & Games, search for "Gosund", tap "ENABLE TO USE", enter your Gosund account, authorize to use, and choose Gosund. Your devices will sync to the Alexa App. You can also ask Alexa to discover new devices.

How to ask Alexa to turn on/off smart switch:

Set an exact name for the switch in the Gosund App. For example, say "Alexa, turn on/off bathroom switch".

Things you can do with Alexa:

• Voice control the smart switch.
• Remote control the smart switch via the Alexa App.
• Add the smart switch to a group on the Alexa App.

Tips for using Alexa voice control:

Ensure the device name set for the smart switch is unique and recognizable for Alexa. All smart device names in your home should be non-repetitive and recognizable for Alexa.

How to connect with Google Home

Link the Gosund App with the Google Home App. In the Google Home App, find "Works with Google", search for "Gosund", enter your Gosund account, and authorize to use. The Google Home App will guide you through the setup.
