Cargo Transportation and Luggage Compartment Cover

Important Safety Information

WARNING: Never transport passengers in the luggage compartment. All passengers and the driver must be in the correct seating position and wear seat belts while the vehicle is in motion. Failure to comply with this requirement in the event of an accident may result in severe injuries, including fatalities.

WARNING: All items transported in the vehicle must be securely fastened. In the event of an accident, sudden braking, or evasive maneuvers, unsecured items can cause serious injuries or fatalities.

Luggage Compartment Cover

WARNING: Do not leave the luggage compartment cover unsecured in the vehicle. In the event of an impact or sudden maneuver, an unsecured cover can cause severe injury or death.

To fold the luggage compartment cover, pull the rigid section to unfold it and allow the soft part of the cover to retract into the housing.

To remove the cover, turn the release lever to unlock the assembly and pull out the pins from the sockets.

To install the cover, insert the left side of the cover into the recess. Insert the right side and then press down on the cover until it clicks into place.

Cargo Lashing Points

All items transported in the luggage compartment must be securely fastened. In the event of an accident, sudden braking, or evasive maneuvers, unsecured items can cause injury.

Luggage Compartment Partition

The luggage compartment partition allows for secure placement of luggage in the luggage compartment.

The floor-mounted rails create fastening channels across the entire width of the luggage compartment. These channels can accommodate a flexible tension strap or a rigid telescopic partition for securing soft and hard items of any shape and size.

  1. Press and pull the tension strap to the desired length.

NOTES:

  1. The tension strap should only be positioned along the edge of the luggage compartment floor, as shown in the illustration.
  2. Adjust the partition to the desired length.
  3. Unlock the corresponding fastening slider and attach the tension strap and partition.
  4. When the fastening slider is in the unlocked position, press the mechanism and set it to the required position on the luggage compartment rail.
  5. Secure the slider in the desired position.
  6. To remove the tension strap and partition from the slider, unlock the slider, press the lock/unlock mechanism, and remove the tension strap and separator.
