Assembly Steps
Follow these steps to assemble and install your RUTSJÖN wash-basin:
- Step 1: Prepare the cabinet. Apply silicone sealant to the edges of the cabinet where the wash-basin will be placed. Use a sealant gun for precise application. Secure the wash-basin to the cabinet using the provided clamps or mounting hardware. Ensure the wash-basin is level and properly aligned.
- Step 2: Install the drain and overflow. Assemble the drain and overflow fitting components as shown in the diagram. Insert the rubber seals and tighten connections securely.
- Step 3: Connect the drain assembly. Attach the assembled drain and overflow fitting to the underside of the wash-basin. Ensure a watertight seal.
- Step 4: Allow sealant to cure. Wait for the recommended curing time for the silicone sealant (typically 3 hours, as indicated by a clock icon ?) before proceeding. Do not use the wash-basin until the sealant has fully cured.
- Step 5: Connect the waste pipe. Attach the waste pipe to the drain fitting. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
- Step 6: Final Check. Verify all connections are secure and that there are no leaks.
Detailed diagrams are provided on the following pages to illustrate each step.
Care and Maintenance
Clean the wash-basin with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Wipe dry with a clean cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
