Installation
- Step 1: Mount the bracket using the provided TR20 screw.
- Step 2: Insert a Micro SD Card (not included) into the slot. The terminal block includes connections for: VIDEO, RESET, TAMPERING, ALARM IN 1, ALARM IN 2, ALARM OUT 1, GND, +12V OUT, COM, NO/NC, and PoE.
- Step 3: Drill mounting holes. Recommended installation height: Minimum 24.5 cm (9.6 in) to Maximum 117.1 cm (46.1 in). Vertical range: 36 cm (14.2 in) to 266 cm (104.7 in). Horizontal range: 74 cm (29.1 in) to 228 cm (89.8 in). Optimal viewing angle: 114°. Distance from wall: 75 cm (29.5 in). Unit dimensions: 111 mm (4.4 in) width, 29 mm (1.1 in) height. Considerations for wheelchair users are indicated.
- Step 4: Connect PoE and DC12V power sources.
- Step 5: Attach the intercom unit to the mounting bracket.
- Step 6: Install the network cable, routing it through the bracket.
- Step 7: Install alarm and power cables, routing them through the designated openings.
- Step 8: Connect the cables to the intercom unit.
- Step 9: Connect wires to the terminal block, following the pin assignments.
- Step 10: Secure the intercom unit to the wall using screws.
- Step 11: Make final wiring connections to the terminal block, ensuring correct pin assignments for ALARM IN 1/2, ALARM OUT 1, GND, +12V OUT, COM, NO/NC, and PoE.
- Step 12: Wiring diagram illustrating connections to the terminal block.
- Step 13: Final physical attachment of the intercom unit to its mounting.
- Step 14: Secure the unit with screws.
- Step 15: Setup for touchless call: Navigate through the device menu: <Setup (⚙️)> → <Intercom> → <Call Setup> → <Touchless call> → <Enable>.
- Step 16: Setting up Alarm output for Fail-Safe type door strike (Opens upon power outage). Select Type: N.C. (Normal Close) for Alarm output 2 (NO/NC port).
- Step 17: Setting up Alarm output for Fail-Secure type door strike (Closes upon power outage). Select Type: N.O. (Normal Open) for Alarm output 2 (NO/NC port). Wiring diagram shows connection for 12V(+) and GND(-) to the door strike.
- Step 18: Connect the power adapter to an AC outlet and to the device. Connect the network cable.
- Step 19: Software setup: Use the DEVICE MANAGER and refer to the User Manual (PDF icon).
Password Setting and Login
When accessing the intercom for the first time, you must register the login password.
Administrator Password Change
Fields are provided for entering a "New password" and confirming it.
Password Complexity Rules:
- For passwords 8 to 9 characters long: Must include a combination of at least 3 character types (uppercase/lowercase letters, numbers, special characters).
- For passwords 10 to 15 characters long: Must include a combination of at least 2 character types.
- Allowed special characters: ~!@#$%^*()_-+=|{}[].?/
- Passwords cannot use more than 4 consecutive characters (e.g., 1234).
- Passwords cannot use the same character 4 or more times consecutively (e.g., !!!!).
- User names cannot be used as passwords.
Security Tip: For higher security, avoid repeating the same characters or consecutive keyboard inputs.
Password Reset: If you lose your password, you can press the [RESET] button to initialize the product. It is recommended to use a memo pad or memorize your password.
Login Procedure:
- Enter "admin" in the <User Name> input box.
- Enter your password in the <Password> input field.
- Click [Sign in].
