Wisenet Network Camera Quick Guide

This guide provides essential information for installing and setting up your Wisenet Network Camera.
Components
The following components are typically included with the camera. Please note that accessories may vary by sales country.
- Camera unit
- Mounting hardware (screws, brackets)
- Power adapter/cable

- Audio/Alarm cables
- Hex wrench

- User manual (referenced as '15' in diagrams)
Not Included: SD CARD, WiFi dongle, OTG adapter.

Installation Precautions
Please observe the following warnings during installation:

Installation Steps
Follow these steps for proper installation:
Step 1-2: Prepare Mounting
Attach the mounting plate to the desired surface. Ensure it is level and secure.

Step 3-4: Mount Camera Body
Secure the camera body to the mounting plate. This may involve aligning and locking mechanisms.

Step 5-6: Connect Cables
Connect the necessary cables to the camera's terminals:
- Power: Connect to AC 24V or DC 12V power source.

- Audio: Connect audio input/output devices if applicable.
- Alarm: Connect alarm input/output devices.
- Ground: Connect the ground wire for safety.

Step 7-8: Insert SD Card and Connect USB
Insert a MicroSD card into the designated slot for local storage. Connect any USB devices if required.

Step 9-10: Cable Management and Final Connections
Route cables neatly and make final connections. Ensure all connections are secure.

Step 11-12: Connect WiFi Dongle/OTG Adapter
If using WiFi connectivity, connect the WiFi dongle to the Micro USB terminal. An OTG adapter may also be required.

Step 13-14: Final Mounting and Power On
Complete the physical mounting and connect the power supply. The camera will power on.

Step 15-16: Mobile App Setup
Install the Wisenet Installation application on your smartphone. Connect to the camera's WiFi SSID and use the app to configure settings and adjust the viewing angle.

Step 17-20: Camera Adjustment and Setup
Adjust the camera's field of view as needed. The diagrams show examples of camera placement and how the view covers an area with people moving through it. Final setup may involve using the Device Manager software and the User Manual (referenced as '15').

Password Setting and Login
When accessing the camera for the first time, you must set a login password.
Password Requirements:
- For passwords 8-9 characters long: Use at least 3 types (uppercase, lowercase, numbers, special characters).
- For passwords 10-15 characters long: Use at least 2 types.
- Allowed special characters: `~!@#$%^*()_-+=|{}[].?/`
- Avoid using 4 or more consecutive identical characters (e.g., `!!!!`) or sequential characters (e.g., `1234`, `abcd`).
- Usernames should be different from passwords.
If you forget your password, press the [RESET] button to initialize the product.
Login Process:
- Enter "admin" in the <User Name> field.
- Enter your password in the <Password> field.
- Click [Sign in].
Connecting to WiFi
Camera Setup:
- Connect an OTG adapter (5-pin) and WiFi dongle to the camera's Micro USB terminal.
Smartphone Setup:
- Install the Wisenet Installation application on your smartphone.
- Select the camera's SSID after turning on the WiFi.
- Run the Wisenet Installation application.
- Log in to the camera; the video feed will connect. The video may play without login during the initial connection.
- You can adjust the camera's angle of view using the smartphone application.
