Key Features
Microphone Stand Kit Integration
The microphone can be attached to a stand using the supplied washers, lock washers, and screws at the left and right pivots. Angle adjustment is achieved by loosening the screws (counterclockwise) on the yoke pivots, positioning the microphone, and then tightening the screws (clockwise) to secure it. A W3/8 nut is provided to attach the microphone yoke to commercially available desk or floor microphone stands.
Low-Cut Filter Switch
This switch activates or deactivates a low-cut filter with a cut-off frequency of 340Hz and a slope of -6dB/octave. Move the switch in the indicated direction to turn the filter ON. The cap should be removed before operation.
PTT (Push-to-Talk) Switch
Pressing this switch engages transmit mode and holds it. Pressing it again returns the transceiver to receive mode.
Cable Connections
Connect the straight cable connector to the microphone. The microphone connects to the transceiver using an 8-pin modular microphone connector. An optional SCU-53 cable is required for connecting the M-90MS to HF transceivers equipped with a round 8-pin microphone connector. When using the SCU-53, route the cable behind the transceiver leg to prevent interference with operation.
