Safety Instructions

  1. Read and retain all safety and operating instructions before use.
  2. Heed all warnings on the appliance and in the instructions.
  3. Follow all operating and use instructions.
  4. Do not use near water or moisture (e.g., wet basement, swimming pool).
  5. Clean only with a dry cloth.
  6. Ensure at least 5 cm ventilation around the apparatus; do not block openings.
  7. Do not install near heat sources (radiators, stoves, amplifiers).
  8. Do not defeat the purpose of polarized or grounding plugs. Consult an electrician if the plug does not fit your outlet.
  9. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched.
  10. Use only manufacturer-specified attachments/accessories.
  11. Use only with specified carts, stands, tripods, brackets, or tables. Exercise caution when moving combinations to prevent tip-overs.
  12. Unplug during lightning storms or long periods of non-use.
  13. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel for damage (cord, plug, liquid spills, dropped items, exposure to rain/moisture, abnormal operation).
  14. Keep the unit in a well-ventilated environment.
  15. To reduce fire/electric shock risk, do not expose to rain or moisture. No naked flames (like candles) on the apparatus.
  16. The main plug serves as the disconnect device and must remain operable.
  17. This product is for household use only, not commercial.
  18. This equipment is Class II or double insulated and does not require a safety connection to electrical earth.

Turntable Layout

The turntable has several components labeled with numbers:

Turntable Operation

Power Supply

Insert the adaptor plug into the DC IN jack on the rear of the unit. Connect the AC/DC adaptor (5V/1A, 100-240V, 50-60Hz) to a wall outlet.

Basic Operation

  1. Lift the buckle on the front and open the lid.
  2. Turn the FUNCTION knob to PHONO. Turn the VOLUME CONTROL knob clockwise to power ON the unit. The red LED indicates the unit is ON.
  3. Place a record on the turntable platter and select the speed (33 1/3, 45, or 78 RPM) using the SPEED SELECTION SWITCH. For 45 RPM records, use the included 45 RPM adaptor.
  4. Open the TONE ARM CLIP. Push the LIFT LEVER backwards to raise the arm. Gently move the tone arm to the desired position over the record. The turntable will start spinning when the arm moves towards the record. Push the lift lever forward and slowly lower the arm onto the record to begin playback.
  5. Note: The turntable only starts spinning when the tone arm is over the record if the Auto Stop is ON.
  6. If the AUTO AND MANUAL STOP SELECTION SWITCH is ON, the record stops automatically. If OFF, it will not stop automatically.
  7. Turn the VOLUME CONTROL knob to adjust the volume level.

How to Replace the Turntable Needle

Replacement Needle # ITNP-S1

Removing the Stylus:

  1. Place a screwdriver at the tip of the stylus and push down in direction "A". Warning: Applying excessive force may damage or break the stylus.
  2. Pull the stylus out in direction "B".

Installing the Stylus:

  1. Hold the tip of the stylus and insert the other edge by pressing in direction "C".
  2. Push the stylus up in direction "D" until it locks into place.

Caution:

Note: The stylus typically lasts about 50 hours. Replace it when sound quality changes.

Bluetooth Out Operation

This feature allows connection to external Bluetooth-compatible headphones or speakers (not included).

  1. Power ON the unit by turning the VOLUME CONTROL knob clockwise.
  2. Turn the FUNCTION knob to BT OUT. The red LED will flash.
  3. Turn ON your external Bluetooth receiver device (headphones/speakers) and set it to pairing mode.
  4. Pairing may take 15-30 seconds. A chime will sound, and the red LED will stop flashing when complete.
  5. You are now connected to your external Bluetooth device.
  6. Place a vinyl record on the turntable. Move the tone arm to the desired playing position. Sound will play from the external Bluetooth speaker. Volume is adjusted on the external device only.

Bluetooth Operation

Connect an external device with Bluetooth to the turntable.

  1. Power ON the unit by turning the VOLUME CONTROL knob clockwise.
  2. Turn the FUNCTION knob to BT (Bluetooth®). The blue LED will flash.
  3. On your external device, turn ON Bluetooth settings. Look for "Victrola Journey +" and select it to connect. The blue LED will stop flashing once connected.
  4. You are now connected via Bluetooth.
  5. Turn the VOLUME CONTROL knob to adjust the sound level.

Aux-In Operation

Connect an external audio source (CD/MP3 player, mobile phone, computer) via the LINE-IN JACK.

  1. Plug an Aux Cable (not provided) into the LINE-IN socket on the unit.
  2. Turn the FUNCTION knob to LINE-IN. The LED will turn purple.
  3. Plug the other end of the Aux Cable into the headphone or line-out socket of your external source.
  4. Power ON the unit by turning the VOLUME CONTROL knob clockwise.
  5. Turn the VOLUME CONTROL knob to adjust the sound level.

Headphone Operation

Plug headphones into the headphone jack on the function panel to listen to the record. The built-in speakers will mute when headphones are plugged in.

Note: For best performance and maintenance, unplug the turntable when not in use.

Limited Warranty: 90 Days Labor, One Year Parts

Innovative Technology Electronics LLC. (IT) warrants the product against "Defects" in materials under normal use for "One Year" from the original purchase date. The warranty is non-transferable.

Within the initial "90 Day" period, IT will repair or replace defective products at no charge. For a total period of "One Year" from the original purchase date, IT will cover the cost to repair or replace damaged "Parts" only.
