Overview
The Victrola Journey Glow VSC-700SB is a turntable with various playback modes and features. The following diagram illustrates its components:

Initial Setup
- Place the unit on a flat and level surface and open the buckle.
- Remove all packing materials, including the twist tie from the tonearm.
- Remove the stylus cover by gently pulling it towards the front of the unit.
- Using the included power adapter, plug in the unit.
- Rotate the power knob to turn the unit ON.
Victrola GlowRGB™ Operation
The GlowRGB button controls the unit's LED lighting effects.
GlowRGB Button Functions:
- Press & Hold: Turn lights ON / OFF.
- Double Press: Switch Light Mode Group (Multicolor | Music Pulse | Solid Colors).
- Single Press: Switch Individual Light Modes.

Vinyl Mode
To play vinyl records:
- Rotate the power knob to turn the unit ON.
- Rotate the function knob to PHONO (Vinyl) mode.
- Place a vinyl record on the platter.
- Release the tonearm from the tonearm rest.
- Raise the tonearm using the lift lever.
- Move the tonearm over the edge of the record and lower the lift lever to begin playing.
Use the power/volume knob to adjust the volume.
Speed Selector Switch
Use this switch to adjust the record speed (33 1/3, 45, or 78 RPM). If using a 45 RPM record, use the included 45 adapter. Visual: A switch with markings for 33, 45, and 78 RPM.
Auto Stop Selection Switch
If this switch is ON, the record will start spinning when the tonearm moves over the record and will stop automatically when playback is finished. If OFF, the record spins when in "PHONO" mode and continues spinning after playback.
RCA Line Out
Use the red and white connectors on the back of the unit to connect to an amplifier/stereo device. Reduce the volume to a minimum level on the record player before connecting and increase volume as needed.
Headphones
Use the headphone jack on the platter to connect headphones/earbuds. Reduce the volume to a minimum level on the record player and increase volume as needed.
Note:
- Only touch the center or edges of the record to avoid damage to vinyl grooves.
- If no sound is playing, ensure the function knob is set to Vinyl mode.
Vinylstream™ Mode
Play a vinyl record on an external Bluetooth speaker or headphones.
- Rotate the power knob to turn the unit ON.
- Rotate the function knob to BT OUT (Vinylstream) mode. The unit will search for Bluetooth devices (LED flashes Blue).
- Turn ON your external Bluetooth speaker or headphone and set it to pairing mode.
- The unit will chime when connected (LED stops flashing).
Use your external device to control the volume.
Notes:
- In Vinylstream mode, internal speakers are disengaged.
- Place the Bluetooth device within 1m (3.3') for initial pairing.
- Ensure the unit is within 10m (33ft) of the external device for the strongest connection.
Bluetooth Mode
Connect to Bluetooth devices.
- Rotate the power knob to turn the unit ON.
- Rotate the function knob to BT (Bluetooth) mode. The unit will search for Bluetooth devices (LED flashes Blue).
- On your device, turn on Bluetooth and select “Victrola Journey Glow” from the list.
- The unit will chime when connected (LED stops flashing).
Use the Power/Volume Knob to adjust volume.
Notes:
- Ensure the unit is within 10m (33ft) of your external device for the strongest connection.
- If no sound is playing, ensure the function knob is set to Bluetooth mode.
Aux-In Operation
Connect an external audio device using a 3.5mm auxiliary cable (not included) to the LINE IN jack on the platter.
- Rotate the power knob to turn the unit ON.
- Rotate the function knob to LINE IN (Aux-In) mode (LED turns Purple).
- Use the Power/Volume Knob to adjust volume. Use the controls on the external audio device for other playback functions.
Stylus Replacement
Removing the Stylus from the Tonearm
- Place fingers at the tip of the stylus and push down towards direction "A". Warning: Applying excessive force may damage or break the cartridge.
- Pull the stylus out towards direction "B".

Installing the Stylus (Replacement Stylus # ITNP-S1)
- Hold the tip of the stylus and insert the other edge by pressing towards direction "C".
- Push the stylus up towards direction "D" until it locks at the tip.

Note: The stylus should last about 300 hours under normal use. Replace the stylus when sound quality degrades.
