ASCO H150, H300, H386 Series 600-1000 Amp Transfer Switches Composite Outline
Diagram Description: Composite Outline
This document provides a composite outline and dimensional information for ASCO H150, H300, and H386 Series automatic transfer switches, rated for 600-1000 Amperes, Type 3R/4/12 enclosures.
The outline illustrates various views of the transfer switch enclosure, including:
- Left Side View (With Door): Shows the overall dimensions and external features. Key dimensions include a height of 72.00 inches (Box O.D.), a depth of 19.09 inches, and a width of 34.00 inches (Enclosure). A ground buss for 600 Amps is noted as "Top Only", while a ground buss for 800-1000 Amps is located at "Both Top and Bottom".
- Front View (Without Door): Displays the internal layout of the switchgear. It shows the main load lugs, neutral connections, and terminal blocks (TB) for field connections, specifically for H150/H300 models. Dimensions include a height of 72.00 inches (Box O.D.) and a depth of 19.09 inches.
- Right Side View: Shows the enclosure from the right. Key dimensions include a height of 75.00 inches (Total O.D.) and a depth of 19.09 inches. This view highlights the location of user controls and indicators, and field connections terminal block (TB) for H386 models.
- Front View (With Door): Similar to the front view without the door, showing the internal components.
- Bottom View: Details the bottom of the enclosure, indicating a conduit area with dimensions 29.0 x 14.0 inches. It also shows mounting hole locations (4 PLC's with diameter 0.56 inches) and leg height (3.00 inches). Minimum door clearance is 34.00 inches.
The enclosure is described as free-standing, floor-mounted, constructed from 12-gauge formed frame. The door is hinged on the right side with clamps and a lockable handle on the left. The standard finish is ASA 61 Gray polyester powder, with other ANSI colors available upon consultation.
