HUAWEI SUMMER WAVE Promotional Campaign Rules

1. Campaign Organizer and Official Rules

1.1. Organizer: HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES SRL, a company registered in Romania, with its registered office at Str. Barbu Văcărescu, no. 201, floors 6, 14, 15, 16, 23, 24, 25, Sector 2, Bucharest, postal code 020276. Registered with the Bucharest Trade Register under no. J40/621/2007, with Fiscal Code 20567140.

1.2. HUAWEI Store Romania: The official online store of HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES SRL, accessible at https://consumer.huawei.com/ro/offer/.

2. Legal Basis

2.1. The campaign is organized in accordance with the provisions of Government Ordinance no. 99/2000 on the marketing of products and services, republished in the Official Gazette no. 603 of 31.08.2007, with subsequent amendments and additions.

3. Campaign Period

3.1. The campaign is valid from August 1, 2025, 00:01 to August 25, 2025, 23:59 Romania time.

3.2. The campaign takes place on the website https://consumer.huawei.com/ro/offer/.

3.3. The campaign is conducted in accordance with these rules, which are mandatory for all participants.

4. Participants

4.1. The campaign is open to any natural person aged 18 years or older (by the start date of the campaign), with full legal capacity, residing in Romania, as well as any Romanian legal entity with its registered office in Romania (SRL, Family Businesses, PFA, NGOs, etc.).

4.2. Employees of the Organizer and their relatives in direct or collateral line (up to the second degree inclusive), as well as their spouses, are not eligible to participate.

4.3. Participation in this campaign implies full, express, and unequivocal knowledge and acceptance of these Official Rules.

4.4. Participants guarantee that the provided data is correct, complete, and true.

4.5. Legal entities, family businesses, employees of the Organizer, and their relatives in direct or collateral line (up to the second degree inclusive) and their spouses are not eligible to participate.

4.6. Participants must exercise their rights and fulfill their civil obligations in good faith, in accordance with public order and good morals. Good faith is presumed until proven otherwise (according to art. 14 of the Civil Code).

4.7. If individuals are identified who have influenced or facilitated the winning of prizes within the campaign, violating the provisions of these Rules and/or applicable laws, the Organizer reserves the right to take legal action against these individuals to recover damages, as well as to notify the competent criminal prosecution bodies.

4.8. If the winner has provided false, erroneous, or incomplete identification data, making them unidentifiable to the Organizer, they forfeit the right to claim the Prize.

4.9. Any attempt at fraud within the campaign will lead to the disqualification of the participant.

5. Campaign Description

5.1. This campaign is available to Participants on the Campaign Page, in the form of promotional offers, personalized packages, price reductions, and coupons/vouchers.

5.2. A Primary Product is the item with the highest price in the order, which the customer usually adds first to their shopping cart.

5.3. A Secondary Product can be purchased at a reduced price only together with a Primary Product.

5.4. A Standard Promotional Package consists of a Primary Product and one or more Secondary Products. This package can be purchased at a reduced price, which may be configured by the Seller (Organizer of the promotional campaign), without the possibility of customer personalization. Secondary Products in the Standard Promotional Package are automatically added to the cart. Only by purchasing one of the Primary Products can participants benefit from Standard Promotional Packages – a complete list of which can be found on the Platform. In addition to the Standard Promotional Package, consumers can also add to their order, or purchase, other Huawei products at a reduced price, indicated as such on the Platform.

5.5. A Personalized Package consists of a Primary Product and one or more Secondary Products. This package can be purchased at a promotional price, consisting of the price of the Primary Product and the reduced price of the Secondary Products. Once displayed, this package allows customer personalization: in addition to the Primary Product, the customer can select one or more Secondary Products from those displayed, at a promotional price. The customer's Personalized Package can also be purchased together with a Standard Promotional Package, if the latter is available on the Platform. Only by purchasing one of the Primary Products can participants benefit from Personalized Packages – a complete list of which can be found on the Platform. Unlike the Secondary Products in the Standard Promotional Package, which are automatically added to the Cart, those in the Personalized Packages are selected and added by the customer only.

5.6. Standard Promotional Packages, Personalized Packages, price reductions, and discount coupons are valid while stocks last. If any Secondary Product in the Standard Promotional Packages or Personalized Packages is no longer available in stock, it will be automatically displayed with the message “out of stock” and cannot be purchased with the Primary Product. If any Primary Product is no longer available in stock, it will be automatically displayed with the message “out of stock”.

6. Campaign Mechanism and Offer

6.1. Mechanism: To benefit from Standard Promotional Packages and/or Personalized Packages, follow these steps:

• Access the Campaign Page.
• Log in with your HUAWEI ID. If you don't have an account, you can create one here. If you do not wish to create an account, you can place your order using only your email address and providing the postal address where you wish to receive the ordered products.
• Navigate to the participating products on the Site.
• To benefit from a Standard Promotional Package - on the Primary Product page, check if the option is displayed and press the “Add to Cart” button. Secondary Products from the Standard Promotional Package are automatically added to the Cart. The customer must finalize the payment and the order.
• To benefit from a Personalized Package - on the Primary Product page, if the Personalized Package option is displayed, the customer can select one or more Secondary Products. Then, they must press the “Add to Cart” button and finalize the payment and order.
• All offers are valid while stocks last.

6.2. Offer:

6.2.1. The list of participating products can be found in Annex no. 1.

6.2.2. The offer regarding Standard Promotional Packages and/or Personalized Packages can be found on the site, on each product page.

6.2.2.1. HUAWEI Points: Loyalty points. When purchasing HUAWEI products, customers receive a number of Huawei points in their Huawei ID account. See details about the Huawei Points program here - Chapter 4.

6.2.3. The offer is valid while stocks last.

6.2.4. Available Standard Promotional Packages:

6.2.4.1. Customers who purchase a Primary Product from the list below receive a Standard Promotional Package with the corresponding Secondary Product(s). To benefit from this offer, the customer must follow these steps in order:

• Navigate to the Primary Product page.
• Select the desired version and color of the Primary Product.
• Select the desired version and color of the Secondary Product, if this option is available.
• Add the Primary Product to the Cart and finalize the payment for the order.

6.2.4.2. The Secondary Product(s) are automatically added to the order, according to the customer's preference, and will be delivered together with the Primary Product, in the same package.

6.2.4.3. If a specific model, version, and color is mentioned for the Primary Product or Secondary Product (e.g., WATCH GT 4 46mm Gray Stainless Steel strap), it means that the Standard Promotional Package is valid strictly for that model.

6.2.4.4. The offer is valid while stocks last.

6.3. Coupons/vouchers for newsletter subscription

6.3.1. All users who subscribe to the HUAWEI Store newsletter with a new email address that has not been used before for subscription will automatically receive a discount coupon as follows:

• Users who subscribe between 01.08.2025 – 25.08.2025, with an email address registered with one of the educational institutions below, receive a 20% discount coupon, as follows:
  • The coupon is valid during the Campaign Period.
  • The coupon applies to the following products:
    • Audio category products: Freebuds 6, FreeArc, Freebuds Pro 4

• Users who subscribe to the general newsletter during the Campaign Period receive a coupon worth 50 lei, as follows:
  • The coupon is valid for any order with a minimum value of 51 lei.
  • The coupon is valid during the Campaign Period.
• Users who register during the period 06.08.2025 - 11.08.2024 with an email address in the special box dedicated to the teasing period will receive a coupon with the following values:
  • A coupon worth 20% valid for the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 2025 series.
• Users who register during the period 06.08.2025 - 25.08.2024 with an email address in the special box dedicated to the teasing period will receive a coupon with the following values:
  • A coupon that allows the free acquisition of a smartwatch GT5 Black 46mm or GT5 White 42mm, provided that a HUAWEI Pura 80 Ultra or HUAWEI Pura 80 Pro phone is purchased.

6.3.2. The coupon is sent via email after the user confirms and validates the email address used for registration.

6.3.3. All coupons must comply with the conditions mentioned in article 6.5.

6.4. Coupons available in HUAWEI Store: These coupons are displayed directly on the product page or on the campaign page https://consumer.huawei.com/ro/offer/.

• All coupons must comply with the conditions mentioned in article 6.5.
• Coupons are valid while stocks last for the products they apply to.

6.5. General conditions for using coupons/vouchers on the Site

6.5.1. These conditions apply to any Coupon/Voucher available on the Site.

6.5.2. Only one coupon/voucher can be used per order. A coupon/voucher cannot be combined with other coupons/vouchers. A coupon/voucher can only be applied to a single unit of the respective product in a single order. The monetary value of the coupon/voucher is not awarded, and its characteristics/parameters cannot be modified.

6.5.3. The Coupon/Voucher is valid only for Primary Products in the order. The Coupon/Voucher does not apply to Secondary Products in Personalized Packages added by the customer to the same Cart.

6.5.4. To benefit from vouchers/coupons on the Site, users must follow these steps:

1. Copy the available coupon/voucher: check if it is displayed on the Campaign Page or copy the available coupon/voucher from the newsletter email.
2. Access the Site or the My HUAWEI application and navigate to the desired product.
3. On the product page, press the “Add to Cart” button.
4. Then, on the “My Cart” page, in the “Summary - Coupons” section, enter the coupon/voucher code and press the “Use” button. At this moment, an information box will appear, showing the value, code, and validity of the coupon/voucher. Validate the coupon by pressing “OK”. The discount will appear in the order summary.
5. Complete the requested information and finalize the order successfully.

6.6. Stock availability and product delivery

6.6.1. If a product is out of stock and delivery will occur at a later date, this will be indicated on the respective product page via a notification message in the notifications section, located immediately below the product name or image.

7. List of Participating Products

7.1. The products participating in this Campaign are listed in Annex no. 1.

7.2. The offer of this Campaign is valid within the limits of the available stock of participating products and promotional packages. If any product is no longer available in stock, the message “out of stock” or “stock unavailable” will be automatically displayed.

8. Payment in Installments

8.1. Participants

8.1.1. For this activity, Customers, natural persons (who have reached the age of 18), who hold at least one valid credit card with an available credit limit, issued by a Financial Institution (commercial bank) offering the online zero-interest installment solution through an agreement signed with the Organizer, can participate on their own initiative.

8.2. Place of activity and accepted banks

8.2.1. This activity takes place exclusively on the Site.

8.2.2. The accepted Financial Institutions or banks are: Banca Transilvania SA, Garanti Bank BBVA, BRD Finance IFN SA, Alpha Bank SA, BRD Groupe Societe Generale SA.

8.2.3. Accepted cards are: credit cards issued by the Financial Institutions mentioned above, under MasterCard, Visa license.

8.3. Mechanism

8.3.1. Persons wishing to purchase products and services from the Site can opt for zero-interest installment payments at the time of payment, which means the installment of the transaction value into an equal number of monthly installments, without interest, in accordance with the financial plan agreed upon by the Financial Institution with each Client.

8.3.2. To participate, the client must follow these steps: add the desired products to the cart and proceed with the order finalization; on the final page, in the “Payment Method” section, enter the credit card details. In the “Installment Plan” option, select the desired number of installments; finalize the payment and order successfully.

8.4. Zero-interest installment programs offered by Financial Institutions are:

8.4.1. Banca Transilvania SA – 3, 6, 9, 12 zero-interest installments.

8.4.2. Garanti Bank BBVA – 3, 6, 9, 12 zero-interest installments.

8.4.3. Alpha Bank SA – 3, 6, 9, 12 zero-interest installments.

8.4.4. BRD Finance IFN SA – 9, 12 zero-interest installments.

8.4.5. BRD Groupe Societe General SA – 3, 6 zero-interest installments.

8.5. Payment processing

8.5.1. Payment processing services are provided by the external provider Payu, which collects and processes clients' personal data. For details on data processing, consult the Payu Privacy Policy here and here. Cards issued by banking institutions in the European Union are accepted (cards issued in China are not accepted).

8.5.2. The amount of the actual refund for each installment is subject to the bank's decision. The bank reserves the right to accept the client's installment payment request.

8.5.3. The Organizer does not store information about the credit card used by the Client. The Organizer does not offer its clients credit facilities or contracts, in its own name or in the name of the accredited banks.

9. PLUXEE CARD PAYMENT

9.1. For online payment, the following types of cards are also accepted: Pluxee Gift Card, Teaching Career Card, Professional Career Card, Edu Pass Card.

10. LIABILITY

10.1. By participating in this promotional campaign, participants agree to comply with the Official Rules of the promotional campaign, as well as all decisions made by the Organizer in all matters related to the implementation of this promotional campaign.

10.2. The Organizer of the promotional campaign and other natural and/or legal persons involved in its organization are not responsible for situations where a participant cannot access the campaign due to reasons such as: Internet connection, installed programs, power outages, errors caused by unexpected interruption of the site's hosting service, etc., or other reasons beyond the Organizer's control.

11. GENERAL CONDITIONS

11.1. By participating in this promotional campaign, participants agree to comply with all the following conditions and terms:

11.1.1. These official rules.

11.2. Huawei Romania reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice. Huawei Romania will inform all Clients about these modifications on the site https://consumer.huawei.com/ro/offer/.

11.3. Prices are expressed in RON and include VAT.

12. FORCE MAJEURE AND OTHER CAUSES FOR TERMINATION/MODIFICATION OF THE CAMPAIGN

12.1. Force majeure means any event that cannot be controlled, remedied, or foreseen by the Organizer and whose occurrence makes it impossible for the latter to fulfill its obligations assumed under the Regulations. This category includes, but is not limited to: wars, fires, floods, strikes and blockades, pandemics, earthquakes, other catastrophes of any kind, embargoes or other acts of authorities, as well as any national or local regulation, public or private, that may prohibit or modify the terms of the Regulations.

12.2. If a force majeure situation, including the Organizer's impossibility, for reasons beyond its control, prevents or delays, totally or partially, the execution of the Regulations and the continuation of the Campaign, the Organizer will be exonerated from liability for fulfilling its obligations for the period during which their fulfillment is prevented or delayed. If the Organizer invokes force majeure, it is obliged to communicate to the Campaign Participants on the Campaign Page, within 5 working days from the occurrence of the force majeure event, its existence, as well as the decision made regarding the continuation of the Campaign.

12.3. If force majeure lasts for more than 6 months, the provisions of these Regulations shall cease to have effect by operation of law, and any obligation or right arising from these provisions shall cease to exist, and no person shall be held liable for non-performance or incomplete or improper performance of its obligations.

13. MISCELLANEOUS

13.1. These Official Rules have been drafted in compliance with the provisions of Government Ordinance no. 99/2000 on the marketing of products and services, republished in the Official Gazette no. 603 of 31.08.2007.
