System Components
This system integrates various Victron Energy products for comprehensive power management:

System Connections and Notes
Key wiring considerations and operational notes:
- Battery Cable Lengths: Keep positive battery cables and negative battery cables all at the same length to ensure balanced charging and discharging.
- BMV Shunt Mounting: The BMV shunt is mounted directly on both positive and negative busbars.
- BMS Grounding: The BMS GND is not connected to prevent ground loops; grounding is established through the VE.Bus UTP cable.
- Component Communication: VE.Direct cables connect MPPT and BMV to Cerbo GX. VE.Bus connects MultiPlus to Cerbo GX.
Component Specifics and Recommendations
Victron Energy MultiPlus 1600VA/12V
Function: Inverter/Charger.
Power Assist: Can add 1.3 kW to the output load when needed, with a total input/output current sum of 16A + 5.6A = 21.6A.
AC Output Protection: Requires an Earth leakage breaker or an MCB/RCD on the output. Cable size must be adjusted accordingly.

Victron Energy Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-30

Connections: Includes connections for battery (B+), ground (GND), output (OUT), and ignition sense (IGNITION).
Protection: Main fuse for Orion input (e.g., 50A or 30A fuse shown).
Lithium Smart LiFePO4 Batteries
Type: 12.8V-100Ah.
Configuration: Two batteries connected in parallel.
BMS Integration: Connected to the VE.Bus BMS via BTV cables.
Starter Battery
Type: 12V-100Ah.
Charging: Charged by the Orion-Tr Smart DC/DC charger and potentially the MultiPlus when in charging mode.
Cerbo GX and GX Touch 50
