• Always keep this user manual with the machine.

Electrical Safety Rules

• This machine can only be powered by a power outlet with a protective grounding conductor. Therefore, ensure that the machine/casing is properly grounded in advance.
• Do not twist or severely bend the power cord, as this may damage the internal wiring. If the power cord shows any signs of damage, do not use the spark plug tester. Damaged cables pose a risk of electric shock. Keep the power cord away from heat sources, oil, sharp edges, and moving parts. Damaged power cords must be replaced by the manufacturer, their technicians, or personnel with similar qualifications to prevent hazardous situations or injuries.

Equipment Safety Rules

• Never leave the equipment unattended while it is operating.
• Always turn off the equipment at the main switch and disconnect the power cord when the equipment is not being used for its intended purpose!
• Do not attempt to repair the equipment yourself.
• Before connecting the equipment to power, check that the battery voltage matches the value specified on the nameplate. Mismatched voltage can cause serious hazards and damage the equipment.
• It is essential to protect the equipment from rainwater, moisture, mechanical damage, overload, and rough handling.

Application

• Check the power cord, plug connections, and adapters for damage before use. If any damage is found, do not operate the equipment.

Personnel Protection Safety Rules

• Do not touch live conductors with a voltage exceeding 30V AC RMS, 42V AC peak, or 60V DC.
• Do not connect hazardous live conductors in a damp environment.
• Wear personal protective equipment (such as approved rubber gloves, face shields, and flame-resistant clothing) to prevent injury from electric shock and arc flash when hazardous live conductors are exposed.
• Always ensure you have a stable footing to safely control equipment in case of emergencies.

Any other use is considered as exceeding the intended purpose of the equipment and is prohibited.

Cautions

Warning

• Do not pull out or insert the spark plug with the power supply connected. If you want to insert or pull it out, please turn off the power first (?➡️ OFF).
• When the spark plug is running, the voltage can reach tens of thousands of volts, so don't touch it directly with your bare hands ✋❌ to avoid injury.
• ?️? Close the protective cover before testing.

Product Introduction

Overview

This is a digital high frequency tester for testing the performance and strength of spark plugs, with a frequency up to 9000 rpm. It is compatible with all crankshaft engine and motorcycle spark plug testing among the market. This product can also be compared to three holes at the same time, simulating real speed and digital control, which greatly improve the test accuracy and work efficiency.

Product Structure

The AUTOOL SPT301 Spark Plug Tester is a compact electronic device. It features a clear, hinged protective cover on top, beneath which two spark plug test sockets are visible. The front panel has a prominent digital display showing four digits (initially "8.8.8.8"), two control buttons labeled "+" and "-", a power switch with "OFF" and "ON" positions, and a power indicator light. The sides of the unit are ribbed for ventilation. A label on the front indicates "AUTOOL SPARK PLUG TESTER SPT 301". A power interface port is located on the side. A warning message "4 PLEASE CLOSE THE PROTECTIVE COVER BEFORE TESTING!" is displayed near the top.

Operating Instructions

Operation

1. Insert the standard spark plug into the standard test slot (A) and insert the spark plug to be tested into the test slot (F).
2. Close the protective cover (G), plug the power adapter into the side power interface (H), connect the power, and the indicator light will be on.
3. Turn on the power switch (E), use the "+" (C) and "-" (D) buttons to adjust the working frequency. The higher the frequency, the stronger the spark plug intensity.

Maintenance Guidelines

• Be careful not to rub the product against rough surfaces or wear the product, especially the sheet metal housing.
• Regularly check product parts that need tightening and connection. If found loose, tighten them promptly to ensure safe operation. External and internal parts in contact with various chemical media should be treated with anti-corrosion measures (e.g., rust removal, painting) to improve corrosion resistance and extend service life.
• Comply with safe operating procedures and do not overload the equipment. Safety guards are complete and reliable. Eliminate unsafe factors promptly. Inspect the circuit thoroughly and replace aging wires in time. Adjust clearances of various parts and replace worn (broken) parts. Avoid contact with corrosive liquids.
• When not in use, store the product in a dry place. Do not store the product in hot, humid, or non-ventilated places.

Warranty Access

• The AUTOOL machine has a three-year warranty from the date of receipt by the customer. Included accessories have a one-year warranty from the date of receipt.
• Repair or replacement of products is determined by the actual breakdown situation.
• AUTOOL guarantees that all replaced parts, accessories, or products are brand new.
• If the product fails within 90 days of receipt, the buyer must provide video and pictures; AUTOOL will bear shipping costs and provide accessories for free replacement. For failures after 90 days, the customer will bear appropriate costs, and AUTOOL will provide parts for free replacement.

Conditions Not Covered by Warranty

• Products not purchased through official or authorized channels.
• Product breakdown due to failure to follow product instructions for use or maintenance.

• If unsatisfied with AUTOOL products purchased from authorized online platforms or offline dealers, products can be returned within seven days of receipt, or exchanged for an equivalent product within 30 days of delivery.
• Returned and exchanged products must be in fully saleable condition with the bill of sale, all relevant accessories, and original packaging.
• AUTOOL will inspect returned items for good condition and eligibility. Items failing inspection will be returned without refund.
