General Safety Rules

• Always keep this user manual with the machine.
• Read all operational instructions before use. Failure to comply may result in electric shock or skin/eye irritation.

• Always wear protective gloves ? to avoid skin contact with oil. If skin contact occurs, wash immediately with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing or footwear.
• If swallowed, seek immediate medical advice.
• Ensure stable footing for safe control of equipment in emergencies.
• Any use beyond the intended purpose is prohibited.

Brake Fluid Types:

• Standard Mode: DOT3, DOT4, DOT5.1
• Expert Mode: Includes specific fluid types like For MOTUL DOT4, FOR ATE DOT4, For FERODO DOT4, For MOBIL DOT4, For BREMBO DOT4, For TRW DOT4, For BOSCH DOT4, For CASTROL DOT4, For TOTAL DOT4, For VALEO DOT4, For FUCHS DOT4, For TEXTAR DOT4.

Operations Instruction

Battery Installation

1. Open the battery cover on the back of the device.
2. Insert 4x1.5V AAA batteries, paying attention to the correct polarity.
3. Close the battery cover securely.

Operations

• Wipe the probe clean before each measurement.
• Press and hold the [Power] button for more than 2 seconds to power on the tester.
• Press [Mode Select] for mode selection: standard mode and expert mode.
• Press [Backlight] to turn off the backlight.
• Submerge the probe in the brake fluid.
• Press [Test] to perform a brake fluid water content measurement.
• The interface will display the percentage of water content.
• Indicators: [✅] (OK) when water content is 0%-2%; [⚠️] when water content is 2%-3%; [❌] when water content is higher than 3%.
• After measurement, press and hold the [Power] button for 2 seconds to shut down the tester.
• The instrument will automatically power off after 5 minutes of inactivity.

• Eliminate unsafe factors promptly. Inspect circuits and replace aging wires.
• Adjust clearances and replace worn parts. Avoid contact with corrosive liquids.
• Store the product in a dry place when not in use. Avoid hot, humid, or non-ventilated locations.

Warranty

A three-year warranty is provided for the main unit and a one-year warranty for accessories, starting from the date of receipt.

Warranty Access

• Repair or replacement is determined by the product's breakdown situation.
• AUTOOL guarantees the use of brand-new components for repairs or replacements.
• If the product fails within 90 days of receipt, provide video and pictures; AUTOOL covers shipping and provides replacement accessories free of charge. For failures after 90 days, the customer bears costs, and AUTOOL provides parts for free replacement.

Conditions Not Covered by Warranty

• Products purchased through unofficial or unauthorized channels.
• Product breakdown due to failure to follow product instructions for use or maintenance.

Return & Exchange Policy

• If unsatisfied with AUTOOL products purchased from authorized platforms or dealers, returns are accepted within seven days of receipt, or exchanges for equivalent products within 30 days of delivery.
• Returned/exchanged products must be in saleable condition with proof of purchase, all accessories, and original packaging.
