Product Overview

This document provides assembly instructions for the TONSTAD chair frame by IKEA.

Step 1: Attach First Two Leg Brackets

Description: Attach two leg brackets to the underside of the seat base using screws (152548) and the Allen key (111631). Ensure the brackets are oriented correctly as shown in the diagrams. The diagram shows two screws per bracket being tightened.

Note: Correct orientation of the bracket is crucial (indicated by a red 'X' symbol for incorrect placement).

Step 2: Attach Remaining Two Leg Brackets

Description: Repeat Step 1 to attach the remaining two leg brackets to the underside of the seat base using screws (152548) and the Allen key (111631).

Visual Aid: Two more screws (152548) are tightened with the Allen key (111631) for each of the remaining two leg brackets.

Step 3: Attach Seat Frame to Legs

Description: Attach the main seat frame to the assembled leg structure. Use three bolts (10123849) and the Allen key (111631) to secure the seat frame to the leg assembly.

Step 4: Position the Chair

Description: Carefully turn the assembled chair upright.
