Check Before Use
1. Pulley elastic adjustment:
Check if the print head or print bed is shaking. If it is, adjust the hexagonal isolation column located underneath until it slides smoothly and without shaking. This adjustment is made using a wrench on a hexagonal spacer behind the D-wheel (for print head) or on the Y-axis (for print bed). Pulleys on both sides of the gantry frame can also be adjusted.
Diagram Description: Shows the print head and print bed. Arrows point to adjustment points for the hexagonal spacers related to the pulleys/wheels.
2. Belts:
Manually move the printhead and print platform. If there is any difficulty or abnormal noise, adjust the tensioner to ensure smooth sliding. The X-axis and Y-axis belt tensioners are indicated.
Diagram Description: Illustrates the X-axis and Y-axis belt tensioners, with indicators for 'Loosen' and 'Tighten'.
3. Connecting to Power:
Connect the printer and ACE Pro to a power outlet using the power cable, then power the printer. Ensure the power cord is not crossed with the print head cable to prevent interference. Before turning on, check that the printer power level matches the local voltage.
Diagram Description: Shows the power cord connection to the printer and the backside of the ACE Pro. Notes provide important safety and connection advice.
