2. Machine Installation

01 Connect Printhead Cable

Press the printhead cable (Orange Type-C long cable) into the slot above the printhead and secure with screws from bag No. 1 (M2*14).

02 Install Printhead

Install the printhead from the back of the printer using No. 2 bag screws (M3*8). Tighten screws at the top first, then the bottom.

03 Install Screen

Use No. 3 bag screws (M4*16) to install the screen. Plug the FPC cable into the port behind the screen, ensuring the side marked "This side up" is facing upwards.

04 Connect the X-axis Motor Cable

Insert the motor cable (Orange 6 Pin short cable) into the bottom groove on the left side of the X-axis, ensuring the cable buckle faces forward.

05 Install Cable Holder

Press the cable holder onto the groove on the left side of the X-axis. Insert the printhead cable into the cable holder.

06 Install Purge Wiper

Slide the purge wiper into the groove on the rear side of the X-axis. Secure it from the back and bottom using No. 4 bag screws (M3*8 and M3*10).

07 Install Filament Tube

(Skip if printing in multiple colors) Insert one end of the filament tube into the hub above the print head and the other end into the cable holder. Snap the filament tube and printhead cable into the cable organizer. If the tube is difficult to insert, remove the blue retainers on the cable holder, insert the tube, and then reinsert the retainers.

08 Install Spool Holder

(Skip if printing in multiple colors) Insert the cylindrical handle into the spool holder hole and rotate to fix. Press the spool holder down into the groove behind the printer base.

09 Install ACE Pro

Position ACE Pro 10-15cm to the left of the Kobra 3 printer. Connect the 4-pin end of the signal cable to the peripherals on the left side of the printer. Connect the 6-pin end of the signal cable to the left corner of ACE Pro, ensuring the cable buckle faces outward. Then, insert the filament tube into the printhead filament hub and pass the other end through the cable holder. Remove and reinsert the four blue clips on the connection ports for the filament tubes. Use the cable organizer to secure the cable.

10 Check Before Use

Pulley elastic adjustment: Check for shaking of the print head or print bed. Adjust the hexagonal isolation column underneath until movement is smooth and without shaking. The pulleys on both sides of the gantry frame can also be adjusted.

Belts: Manually move the printhead and print platform. If there is difficulty or abnormal noise, adjust the tensioner for smooth sliding.

Connecting to Power: Connect the printer and ACE Pro to a power outlet using the power cable. Power on the printer. Note: Avoid crossing the power cord with the print head cable. Ensure the printer's power level matches the local voltage before turning it on.

3. Power-on Guide

The power-on guide outlines the steps for initial setup, including language selection, area setting, network configuration (WiFi, Bluetooth), cloud connection via the Anycubic APP, and completing the setup with a U-Disk. It also covers self-test procedures, auto-leveling, loading filament, vibration compensation, and printing the model.

Note: The interface shown is for reference; refer to the latest firmware release for current information.

4. Printer Binding

Connect the printer to the network. Scan the QR code on the printer screen (Settings > Cloud) to download the Anycubic App. Register and log in to your Anycubic account. In the App, click [+Initiate printing], then [Scan], and scan the printer's QR code to bind your account. Alternatively, you can add printers manually or via a device CN code.

5. Print Model

Select a model from local storage or U-DISK for printing. It is recommended to use a pre-loaded file for a test print. The Anycubic Makeronline QR code provides access to download models.

The process involves selecting the model, choosing print settings (color, temperature, etc.), and initiating the print. The interface displays preheating status, estimated time, and printing progress.

Notes: The built-in model's reality may differ. Use similar colors for preset matching to ensure accurate flush settings.

6. Other Function Descriptions

Leveling

Access leveling through "Tools"-"Control"-"Auto Level". The machine will guide you through preheating, wiping the nozzle, and probing. Ensure the PEI magnetic spring board is installed before leveling.

7. Maintenance Recommendation

Z-axis Lead Screws

Lubricate every three months. Clean screws thoroughly, apply a thin coat of grease, move the print head, and home the printer. Repeat to ensure even distribution and clean excess grease.

X/Y-axis double metal spindles

Lubricate monthly. Clean spindles thoroughly, apply a thin coat of grease, and home the printer. Repeat to ensure even distribution.

Hotend Replacement

2. Press the print head sides and pull the front cover forward to remove it.

3. Gently pull the black and white lines forward to remove them.

4. Pull the retaining spring forward to loosen the hotend.

5. Insert the new hotend upwards, ensuring the white wire is at the front.

6. Press the retaining spring back to fix the hotend.

7. Plug the wires back, noting the black wire is at the bottom.

8. Close the front cover to complete the hotend replacement.
