Introduction and Compatibility
This document provides installation and programming instructions for the Fortin EVO-ALL module, designed for standalone operation with THAR-CHR7 and THAR-CHR6 harnesses. It is exclusively compatible with vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions.

Mandatory Installation Requirements
WARNING: This module must be installed by a qualified technician. Incorrect connections can cause permanent damage to the vehicle.
Hood Pin Installation: The hood pin switch is mandatory. If the vehicle can be remote started with the hood open, function A11 must be set to OFF (NON). The hood pin is an essential security element and must be installed.

- Flash Link Updater
- Flash Link Manager
- Flash Link Mobile App (Requires a smartphone)
- Microsoft Windows Computer with Internet connection
- Smartphone (Android or iOS) with Internet connection
Mandatory Safety Components:
- Hood Pin (Contact de capot)
- Valet Switch (Commutateur Valet)
Module Configuration and Options
The EVO-ALL module's options are programmed using the Flash Link Updater or Flash Link Mobile tools. The module supports various bypass options.
Bypass Option Programming:
- OEM Remote Stand Alone: For remote starter with original remote. Options: D1.10 (LOCK, LOCK, LOCK) or D1.1 (LOCK, UNLOCK, LOCK).
- OEM Remote: For OEM Remote Monitoring. Option Unit: C1.
- RF KIT Antenna: For RF KIT antenna support. Option Units: H1 to H6.
Remote Starter Functionality
Remote Start/Stop: Press the OEM remote's Lock button 3 times consecutively. Ensure all doors are closed before operation.
Unlocking Doors: Use the OEM remote, the remote-starter remote, or the proximity remote.
Entering Vehicle: Enter the vehicle with the Intelligent SmartKey on your person.
Driving: The vehicle is now ready to be put into gear and driven.
If the vehicle is not unlocked, opening any door will shut down the remote starter and the vehicle.
Remote Starter Diagnostics (Module Red LED):
- 2 Flashes: Brake ON
- 3 Flashes: No Tach signal
- 4 Flashes: Ignition detected before start
- 5 Flashes: Hood Open
Remote Starter Warning Card:
A warning card should be affixed in a visible location. It informs that the vehicle can be started via the OEM remote (3x Lock) or a smartphone. The safety switch under the dashboard must be turned ON before any vehicle maintenance.
Wiring and Connection Diagrams
This section details the wiring connections for automatic transmission vehicles using the THAR-CHR7 and THAR-CHR6 harnesses.
Component Locations:
1. Headlight Switch: Location of the (-) PARKING LIGHTS wire.
2. Under Driver's Dash: Access to (~)CAN2 LOW and (~)CAN2 HIGH wires.
3. At Start/Stop Switch: Connections for (+)12V, GROUND, (~)LIN DATA, and (-)START/STOP.
4. Behind Glove Box: Access to (~)CAN1 LOW and (~)CAN1 HIGH wires.
EVO-ALL Module Connectors and Vehicle Interfaces:
The EVO-ALL module connects to the vehicle's wiring harness via specific connectors and interfaces.

T-Harness Connections:
The T-Harness (THAR-CHR7 or THAR-CHR6) connects to Connector A10 of the EVO-ALL module and interfaces with the vehicle's ignition harness.
- THAR-CHR7: Requires 1x THAR-CHR7 harness.
- THAR-CHR6: Requires 1x THAR-CHR6 harness.
Vehicle Connector Locations and Connections:
- Parking Lights Switch: Located via a Black 6-pin connector. Connects to A17 (Green/White).
- Push-to-Start Button: Located via a Black 6-pin connector. Connects to A13 (Yellow/Black) for Start/Stop External Control and A20 (Lt.Blue) for (+) Start/Stop Signal.
- CAN-IHS Junction Block (Under Driver's Dash): Accessed via a Green 2-pin connector. Connects to C1/C2 (CAN2 HIGH/LOW).
- CAN-C Junction Box (Behind Glove Box): Accessed via a White 2-pin connector. Connects to C3/C4 (CAN1 HIGH/LOW).
Optional Connections:
- Data-Link Connection: Used for direct connection or D2D connection with RF-Kit Remote Starter.
- RF-Kit Remote Starter: Requires specific wiring and connection to the EVO-ALL module.
Programming Procedures
The EVO-ALL module requires programming for various functions, including bypass options, key bypass, and RF kit configurations.
DCRYPTOR Programming Procedure:
- Preparation: Ensure all required parts (Flash Link Updater/Manager, Flash Link Mobile App, Computer/Smartphone) are available. Set unit options and save before proceeding.
- Step 1: Press and hold the programming button. Insert the 4-Pin (Data-Link) connector. Observe LEDs: Blue, Red, Yellow, and Blue & Red will illuminate alternatively.
- Step 2: Release the programming button when the LED is solid BLUE. If the LED is not solid BLUE, disconnect the 4-Pin connector and return to Step 1.
- Step 3: Insert the remaining required connectors.
- Step 4: Do not press the brake pedal. Press the START/STOP button twice to turn ON the ignition.
- Step 5: Press and release the programming button once (1x). The BLUE LED will turn off. The BLUE LED will then flash rapidly.
- Step 6 (Key Bypass): Press the START/STOP button once to turn OFF the ignition. The BLUE LED will turn off. The RED and YELLOW LEDs will alternate.
- Step 7: Disconnect all connectors, including the Data-Link (4-pins) connector.
- Step 8: Use the Flash Link Updater or Flash Link Mobile tool to access the DCryptor menu.
- Step 9 (Completion): After DCryptor programming is complete, return to the vehicle and reconnect the 4-Pin (Data-Link) connector, followed by all other remaining connectors.
Optional RF-Kit Programming (Series 4 or Series 9):
Program Bypass Option: Set bypass option to H2. This enables Supported RF-KITS (H2 Fortin 2) and supports RF Kits (H2 Fortin 2).
Programming Steps:
- Ensure the module is programmed on the vehicle. Verify the ignition key has been in the OFF position for at least 5 seconds.
- Step 1: Press the START/STOP button twice to turn on the ignition. The LED will turn ON solid.
- Step 2: Press the START/STOP button once to turn off the ignition. The LED will turn OFF.
- Step 3: Press the START/STOP button twice to turn on the ignition. The LED will turn ON solid.
- Step 4: Press and release the brake pedal four times. The LED will turn off after each press.
- Step 5: On each transmitter, press and release the 4 buttons. The LED will flash rapidly. (Follow specific instructions for pressing and holding for approximately 12 seconds until the Blue LED turns off then back on solid, then release).
- Step 6: Press the START/STOP button once to turn off the ignition. The LED will turn Off.
Remote Starter / Alarm Verification Procedure: Test the remote starter by remotely starting the vehicle.
Fortin FMH Remote Functionality
Remote Start: Press the FUNCTION button and release, then press the LOCK button and release.
AUX.1 (Heated Functions): Controls heated mirror, rear defrost, front defrost, heated steering, and heated seats. Activate by pressing the FUNCTION button and release, then pressing the LOCK button and release.
AUX.2 (Cooling Functions): Controls cooling seat. Activate by pressing the FUNCTION button and release, then pressing the UNLOCK button and release.
Notices and Warnings
Firmware Updates: Fortin regularly posts updated firmware and installation guides on their website. It is recommended to update the module to the latest firmware and download the latest guide before installation.
