Hood Pin Requirement
IF THE VEHICLE IS NOT EQUIPPED WITH FUNCTIONAL HOOD PIN:
Vehicle hybrid only. Function A11: OFF (NON). If the vehicle can be remote started with the hood open, set function A11 to OFF.
Comfort Group Controls
Description: OEM Remote status (Lock/Unlock) monitoring, Hood trigger (Output Status), Push-to-Start, Push-to-Start Hybrid mode (Vehicle hybrid only). Comfort group controls functionnal.
Optional Function: Sliding Doors / Comfort Group Control
Feature 5: AUX+LOCK = Driver's side sliding door control. AUX+UNLOCK = Passenger's side sliding door control. (Comfort group control not functional)
Set to ON (OUI) for this feature.
Mandatory Installation Components
Hood Pin: The hood pin switch (included) must be installed. Set function A11 to OFF if the vehicle can be remote started with the hood open.
Security Sticker: Included. Installation of safety elements is mandatory.
WARNING: THIS MODULE MUST BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN. A WRONG CONNECTION CAN CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE.
Remote Starter Programming Options
Function 34
Mode: 2 | Description: TRUNK OUTPUT. Pulse 2.5 Seconds. (Trunk output: Unlock before trunk pulse 0.5 sec)
Function 39
Mode: 2 | Description: Temperature option: AUX.1 activated at 5°C, 5 seconds after remote started.
The vehicle's OEM remote and SmartKey remain operable during remote start.

DCRYPTOR Programming Procedure
Parts Required (Not Included)
FLASH LINK UPDATER, FLASH LINK MOBILE, FLASH LINK MANAGER, or Microsoft Windows Computer with Internet connection. Smartphone Android or iOS with Internet connection.
Before Programming
Set the unit options and save.
Programming Steps:
Step 1-3: Module Initialization
Press and hold the programming button. Connect the 6-PIN Main harness (White connector). The LEDs will alternate between BLUE, RED, YELLOW & BLUE/RED flashes. Release the programming button when the LED is BLUE (solid). If the BLUE LED is not ON solid, disconnect and repeat.
Step 4: Ignition ON
Press the Push-to-Start button twice to turn the ignition ON. The BLUE LED will flash rapidly.
Step 5: Ignition OFF
Press the Push-to-Start button once to turn the ignition OFF. The BLUE LED continues to flash rapidly.
Step 6: OEM Remote Unlock
Press the Unlock button on the vehicle's OEM remote. The BLUE LED will turn ON solid.
Step 7: Engine Start (First Time)
Press the foot-brake pedal. Press the Push-to-Start button until the engine starts. Release the foot-brake pedal. The BLUE LED will turn OFF. The RED LED will turn ON.
Step 8: Engine OFF (First Time)
Press the Push-to-Start button once to turn off the engine. The RED and YELLOW LEDs will alternate.
Step 9: Engine Start (Second Time)
Press the foot-brake pedal. Press the Push-to-Start button until the engine starts. Release the foot-brake pedal. The RED LED will turn OFF. The YELLOW LED will turn ON.
Step 10: Engine OFF (Second Time)
Press the Push-to-Start button once to turn off the engine. Wait. The RED and YELLOW LEDs will alternate.
Step 11: Disconnect
Disconnect all connectors, starting with the 6-Pin (Main Harness) or 4-Pin Data-link connector.
Step 12-13: Final Programming
Use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool to visit the DCryptor menu. After programming is complete, reconnect the 6-Pin (Main Harness) or 4-pin (Data-Link) connector and then all remaining connectors.
The module is now programmed.
Remote Starter Verification Procedure
Test the remote starter. Remote start the vehicle.
Remote Starter Functionality
Remote Start Sequence
Start: All doors must be closed. Unlock the doors with the OEM remote, the remote-starter remote, or the proximity remote.
Remote start the vehicle: Enter the vehicle with the SMART-KEY. DO NOT PRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL. Press and release the Push-to-Start button once.
Driving the Vehicle
To drive: Press the brake pedal. The vehicle can now be put into gear and driven. If the Smart-Key is not detected, the vehicle will shut down.
