Flash Moving Head 12R
User Manual / Instrukcja Obsługi
Art No: F7100577
Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the 12R. For safety reasons and to ensure trouble-free operation, carefully read these instructions.
Safety Information
- Please keep this User Manual for future consultation. If you sell the fixture to another user, ensure they also receive this instruction booklet.
- Unpack and check carefully for any transportation damage before using the fixture.
- Before operating, ensure that the voltage and frequency of the power supply match the fixture's requirements.
- It is important to ground the yellow/green conductor to earth to avoid electric shock.
- Disconnect main power before servicing and maintenance.
- Use a safety chain when fixing this fixture. Do not handle the fixture by its head only; always handle it by its base.
- Maximum ambient temperature is 40°C. Do not operate it where the temperature is higher than this.
- In the event of a serious operating problem, stop using the fixture immediately. Never attempt to repair the fixture yourself.
- Repairs carried out by unskilled people can lead to damage or malfunction. Please contact the nearest authorized technical assistance center. Always use the same type of spare parts.
- Do not connect the device to any dimmer pack.
- Do not touch any wire during operation, as there might be a hazard of electric shock.
- To prevent or reduce the risk of electrical shock or fire, do not expose the fixture to rain or moisture.
- The housing must be replaced if it is visibly damaged.
- Do not look directly at the light spot while the fixture is on.
Warnings:
- ⚠️ The Moving Head 12R has a powerful pan and tilt motor. The torque reaction when the head is panned suddenly can cause the base to move if the fixture is standing unsecured on a surface. Do not apply power to the 12R unless the base is securely fastened to a surface or to rigging hardware.
- ⚠️ Use 2 clamps to rig the fixture. Do not hang the fixture from only one clamp. Lock each clamp with both 1/4-turn fasteners. Fasteners are locked only when turned a full 90° clockwise.
- ⚠️ When clamping the fixture to a truss or other structure at any other angle than with the yoke hanging vertically downwards, use two clamps of half-coupler type. Do not use any type of clamp that does not completely encircle the structure when fastened.
- ⚠️ Position or shade the head so that the front lens will not be exposed to sunlight or any other strong light source from any angle, even for a few seconds. See Figure 1. The 12R lens can focus the sun's rays, creating a potential fire hazard and causing damage.
- ❗ IMPORTANT: Do not point strong light output from other fixtures at the 12R, as intense illumination can damage the display.
Figure 1: Illustration showing sunlight focusing on the lens, causing fire and damage.

Installation
The unit should be mounted using its screw holes on the bracket. Always ensure the unit is firmly fixed to avoid vibration and slipping during operation. Always ensure the structure to which you are attaching the unit is secure and can support a weight of 10 times the unit's weight. Also, always use a safety cable that can hold 12 times the unit's weight when installing the fixture. The equipment must be installed by professionals. It must be fixed in a place out of the reach of people, where no one passes by or under it.
Connection
The device is equipped with the following interfaces:
- DMX (in/out): XLR 3(5)-pin socket

Diagram of connection of devices by DMX cable: A DMX controller connects to the first fixture (DMX 512), which then connects to subsequent fixtures (DMX 512). The last fixture in the chain must be terminated.
CAUTION! At the last fixture, the DMX signal must be terminated with a terminator. Solder a 120Ω resistor between signal (-) and signal (+) into an XLR plug and plug it into the DMX output of the last fixture.
IMPORTANT! The maximum number of devices connected in series via power cable is 4 pcs.
Connection is performed using the power cable with a powerCON connector (included). The device must be operated by qualified personnel.
CAUTION! In case of cable damage, do not attempt to repair. Replacement or repair can only be made by the manufacturer or by a person with appropriate permissions.

Lamp Usage Notes: The rate of power voltage change should be within ±10%. If the voltage is too high, it will shorten the lamp's life; if it's insufficient, the lamp will be dark. Please restart the light after turning it off for 20 minutes until it has fully cooled. Frequent switching reduces the lifespan of lamps and bulbs; intermittent use improves the life of bulbs and lamps.

Comments
- When entering the "*)) position displayed in the menu, the fixture will automatically set itself as master and send data to external devices. Other fixtures can receive this data and will run synchronously without manual slave setup. Upon power cycle, it will jump to the "*)) position and run again. In this position, it will not return to the default display after 30 seconds.
- When restoring factory defaults, it will only return to the character with the underlined parameter; others will not change.
- [SEND PARAMETERS] can send setting parameters with underlines via DMX cable, and the other projectors will automatically reset after correctly receiving the parameters.
